A tag has been placed on Building River Dialogue and Governance (BRIDGE) Project requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Shirt58 (talk) 10:22, 16 July 2012 (UTC)

In response to your question posted at the above title: you are welcome to work on an article on the BRIDGE project, but please bear in mind that 1) you may not use copyrighted text to do so (see this page for details of how to use text for which you already own the copyright) 2) you must abide by the conflict of interest guidelines and 3) the article must be neutral in tone. You can submit an article via the article wizard to articles for creation. Yunshui 雲水 09:47, 17 July 2012 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on Building River Dialogue and Governance (BRIDGE) Project requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, a rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

below this notice. Thank you. JohnCD (talk) 22:18, 18 July 2012 (UTC)Your username IUCN.WANI evidently represents the Water and Nature Initiative of the International Union for Conservation of Nature. Wikipedia does not allow accounts whose usernames appear to represent groups or organizations.
Before registering a new account that will represent only you as an individual, please understand that Wikipedia is not a "notice-board" site like Myspace or Facebook for people and organizations to write about themselves. It is a project to build an encyclopedia, it is not for promotion of any kind, and in order to maintain the neutral point of view which is a fundamental policy, users are strongly discouraged from writing on subjects where their close connection gives them a Wikipedia:Conflict of interest. See also Wikipedia is not here to tell the world about your noble cause and the WP:FAQ/Organizations.
Your first submission was deleted as a copyright violation, but even if IUCN made a formal copyright release, material copied from your website is likely to have a promotional tone unsuitable for an encyclopedia article, and would not on its own provide the references to "significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject" required to establish Wikipedia:Notability.
See User:JohnCD/Not a noticeboard for background. JohnCD (talk) 22:47, 18 July 2012 (UTC)
