Followup Question

Dear I dream of horses, thank you for your help in creating a new sandbox page. My follow-up question is how do I add a tab to my user window so I can identify both sandboxes on my upper screen menu? Thanks. Richlevine00 (talk) 14:58, 30 April 2014 (UTC)

You can't add a tab on the user window, but most internet browsers do have an option to use what's called "tabbed browsing". That's more or less the same thing you're looking for, but built in the browser itself instead of Wikipedia. --I dream of horses (T) @ 20:03, 30 April 2014 (UTC)
Ok. Most helpful. Many thanks. Richlevine00 (talk) 20:41, 30 April 2014 (UTC)
No problem. --I dream of horses (T) @ 20:55, 30 April 2014 (UTC)

Deletion of JSR

Please delete this page,

When I was adding a reference it was giving me an error though I followed the citation tutorial. I'll do it later

I've waited a bit, and I see that the article is deleted now. I can't delete articles myself, as I'm not an admin. Next time, write articles in your own words. --I dream of horses (T) @ 19:34, 2 May 2014 (UTC)

GW reverted this, unsurprisingly.

Hi! I noticed you placed a warning at User Talk:Tom Graves last year about an edit to Rex Reed. Well, the 'Tom Graves' account has just placed edits at J. D. Salinger that seem to be for the sole purpose of promoting a re-issue published by 'Devault Graves', a publisher in which Tom Graves is a principal. I've skimmed through the edits made by the Tom Graves account, and every one, even the edits made to civil rights articles, seem to be connected in some way to re-issues published by Devault Graves. I reverted the additions to J. D. Salinger. I don't have enough experience to take this further, perhaps you can suggest a next step? - Neonorange (talk) 03:43, 23 May 2014 (UTC)

I placed a COI username warning meant for borderline username cases such as this. Hopefully, the user will want to talk to us now. --I dream of horses (T) @ 22:50, 23 May 2014 (UTC)
I should have gotten back to you sooner. The user Tom Graves posted to my talk page, stating that he is indeed a principal at the publisher Devault Graves, and also stating that he will no longer make edits that promote works published by Devault Graves. - Neonorange (talk) 03:12, 24 May 2014 (UTC)
No need to apologize for the delay. Thanks for the update. --I dream of horses (T) @ 23:48, 24 May 2014 (UTC)

I noticed your edit on the categories of the Beverly Naya article, I just wanted to confirm if the under-listed points will change any of that:

  • She has both Nigerian and British passports
  • She is currently based in Nigeria
  • Her parents also hold dual citizenship

It just feels weird to me that there are no Nigerian categories to the article.

Darreg (talk) 20:56, 25 May 2014 (UTC)

Actually, the second point is what convinced me to partially revert. Passports are irrelevant to what you are most notable for. --I dream of horses (T) @ 21:09, 25 May 2014 (UTC)

Submitting article

Hi I Dream of Horses, I have not finished my article, but want to submit it and keep working on it. I think I have a good start on references now. How do I submit? For awhile there was a notice on how to do that, but I may have inadvertently screwed that up??? Thanks for any input. Sincerely. --WebspinnerLlewellyn (talk) 18:16, 29 May 2014 (UTC)

You can move the page to the main part of Wikipedia yourself if you wish; however, it may be a good idea to put {{subst:submit}} on the top of the article instead. This way, in just over a month or so (there's a severe backlog, so bear with us), someone will come by and review the article for you, giving suggestions to improve it if it's not up to par yet. --I dream of horses (T) @ 05:05, 30 May 2014 (UTC)
