Your edit to "Margulis lemma"

Hello, i reversed your edit to Margulis lemma as it was false as written. I guess you meant to state that if the space X is the symmetric space of a Lie group G then for any point x, if F_x is the group defined in the article then there is a connected nilpotent Lie subgroup N such that the intersection of N with F_x has index at most C in the latter (where C is a constant depending on G), in general F_x itself is not going to be nilpotent. This would probably belong in the last subsection of the introduction (which deals with symmetric spaces) since it is also false for general negatively curved manifolds (e.g. the whole isometry group might be discrete). jraimbau (talk) 12:39, 27 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
