[edit]Hello, I'm LRD NO. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang seemed less than neutral to me, so I removed it for now. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Claims such as one of the fastest players in the world should also be supported by a reliable source. LRD 01:10, 5 November 2014 (UTC)
- Wikipedia is an encyclopedia and is written from a neutral point of view. A statement such as one of the fastest players in the world has to be substantiated by reliable sources. Unless there is data such as time clocked for a 100-m dash comparing him to other players that supports the claim that he is indeed one of the fastest players, it should not be added. LRD 01:26, 5 November 2014 (UTC)
- The reference still does not say he is one of the fastest players in the world. You may, however, add that he clocked 3.7 s in 30 meters. LRD 02:08, 5 November 2014 (UTC)
- I have added the stat without the unverifiable fastest in the world claim in the prose. Cheers. LRD 02:15, 5 November 2014 (UTC)

Your recent edits
[edit]Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:
- Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
- With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.
This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.
Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 02:03, 5 November 2014 (UTC)
re: Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang
[edit]I just checked the history of the article and the only reverts I made to the page were reverting unreferenced and non-neutral POV edits. These edits were made by an IP user, so if that was you and you now have a Wikipedia account, I ask that you abide by the wiki editing rules on neutrality and POV and not complain when your edits that don't abide by these rules are reverted. Thank you. Rupert1904 (talk) 17:58, 5 November 2014 (UTC)
- Then I never reverted your information so please don't accuse me of that. And If I had reverted your work it would have been because you added unreferenced material and were not being neutral, as LRD NO has already warned you. Rupert1904 (talk) 03:41, 6 November 2014 (UTC)
- By adding in unverifiable content, such as Aubameyang being the fastest player in the world. Rupert1904 (talk) 03:49, 6 November 2014 (UTC)
- Let's all calm down for a moment. Iggy is new to Wikipedia so we will assume good faith here. Since Iggy is now aware of the need to write from a neutral perspective and that claims and contentious edits have to be verifiable with reliable sources, there should be no further issue regarding Aubameyang which hasn't already been resolved. Cheers. LRD 03:55, 6 November 2014 (UTC)
