  • Always sign your posts on talk pages. You can do this either by clicking on the button on the edit toolbar or by typing four tildes ~~~~ at the end of your post. This will automatically insert your signature, a link to your talk page, and a timestamp.
  • Leave descriptive edit summaries for your edits. Doing so helps other editors understand what changes you have made and why you made them.

Curiosa (movie) moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Curiosa (movie), is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Disambiguation link notification for April 30[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Genre painting, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page David Wilkie. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:06, 30 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Curiosa (film) moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Curiosa (film), is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Le Monde source is dead. Better sources are required. Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). July 2022[edit]

Information icon Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give a page a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into Curiosa (film). This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases for registered users, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. Liz Read! Your draft article, Draft:Curiosa (film)[edit]

Hello, Imganinary. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Curiosa".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been deleted. If you plan on working on it further and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Liz Read! Talk! 09:04, 26 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution[edit]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Caravaggisti into Caravaggio. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. — Diannaa (talk) 22:50, 13 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Jan Frans van Bloemen[edit]

Hello Imganinary. I appreciate that you like more images in the article on Jan Frans van Bloemen, but it just doesn't work well in a short article, especially with the change to a fixed article width. The text is unnaturally compressed in places as explained in MOS:SANDWICH which is to be avoided. It was the opinion of impartial editor Pecopteris that the gallery was an improvement. Also, besides not reverting the layout, please do not change a completely unrelated edit fixing a reference. Thank you. Curiocurio (talk) 01:30, 10 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @Imganinary, your edit summary that mentions a "bread-related issue" indicates that either you don't understand what MOS:SANDWICH is about or you're trolling. Please read MOS:SANDWICH and do not restore the clearly inferior version of the article that you have been edit warring over. Apart from the issue with the images, there are incorrect names ("Rowron & Rishell") in the version that you have been restoring. If you have valid reasons for your changes, please open a discussion on the article talk page and explain them. CodeTalker (talk) 02:13, 10 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
