Speedy deletion nomination of Initial Ge

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

A tag has been placed on Initial Ge requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Wikipedia is not for writing about yourself

Sorry, but Wikipedia is not for you to promote yourself - Myspace and Facebook are the sort of sites for that sort of thing. Wikipedia is a collaborative project to build an encyclopedia, article subjects have to be notable, see WP:MUSICBIO for the standard for musical performers, articles have to have a neutral point of view and not be promotional, and so people are strongly discouraged from writing about themselves. Even pages in your user space are not for promotional detail about yourself - see WP:UPNOT. The links in the Welcome paragraph above will tell you more about Wikipedia. Reply to your email

No, Wikipedia simply is not for what you want to do. There are plenty of sites like Myspace and Facebook for up-and-coming musical performers to write about themselves, but Wikipedia is not one of them. It is a project to build an encyclopedia, users are here to help with that, not to write about themselves, even user pages are meant only for a small amount of information to help with communication between users about the project.
