Information icon Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit(s) you made to WETP-TV, did not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use your sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Sneedville, Tennessee. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Mvcg66b3r (talk) 21:18, 13 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 31 hours for persistently making disruptive edits. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please review Wikipedia's guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Elli (talk | contribs) 21:18, 20 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I'd like to make it clear that I am sure you are here in good faith, but you need to communicate with your fellow editors and stop violating MOS:OVERLINK. Elli (talk | contribs) 21:19, 20 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

I have the overlinking policy, and I do not believe that I overlinked, and that I should be unblocked. Jake23756295 (talk) 21:51, 20 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

We'd better leave you blocked, then, so you can reread the policy. Yamla (talk) 23:00, 20 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Let me elaborate some on what Yamla said since one of your disruptions ended up on my watch list. The relevant policy (WP:OVERLINK) says that you’re generally not supposed to add multiple links to the same thing in the same article. And I agree with everyone else that you’re probably here in good faith; I didn’t even know about this policy myself until recently. So I can understand how someone can unknowingly violate that policy. That said; you should listen to what these people are trying to tell you.
