Signing articles

Hi, James. I notice you have been signing your articles, such as Ibom international stadium, in the references section. First, we don't sign our articles on Wikipedia. See WP:OWN, which says, in part, 'Since no one "owns" any Wikipedia content, content should not be signed.' People will see your name on the history page, though, so they will know what your contribution was. Second, a reference needs to be more than just your name (or anybody's name, for that matter). It should be a book, journal or web page that anyone can find in order to verify what's in Wikipedia. I assume that by listing yourself as a reference, you're trying to say "this is true because I said so," but that's not good enough on Wikipedia, even if you're a well-known authority. Thank you for uploading File:Ibom international stadium.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing the image description page.

If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion.
