Hello Jjyyu8.
I am your course online ambassador. This means that I will try to assist you to get your article into Wikipedia, using the style and techniques required here. I am a volunteer working from Australia, so my timezone overlaps with yours quite a bit. You are welcome to ask me questions on my talk page or to use email on this screen: Special:EmailUser/Graeme_Bartlett.
I am looking forward to your new article and your improvements to Wikipedia. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 06:16, 21 September 2016 (UTC)
Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy
[edit]Hi Jennifer. I see that you are writing about Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. We already do have an article on that topic. Are you sure you want to work on that? You can make improvements to that article if you wish, but it will be different to most of the other student's work here that writes a new page from scratch. Perhaps you wish to concentrate on Mid-infrared FTIR, or applications of FTIRS in geology. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 02:57, 13 October 2016 (UTC)

DYK for Geology applications of Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy
[edit]On 7 January 2017, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Geology applications of Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy can be used to find how much water and carbon dioxide are in melt inclusions in mineral grains? You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, Geology applications of Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.
