[edit]

Hello! I'm a bot created by another Wikipedia editor. I wanted to let you know that I removed a link that you recently added to the page United States Senate election in Hawaii, 2012 here. I did this because http://www.youtube.com/johnproco/ is probably inappropriate for an encyclopedia. We generally try to avoid linking to external audio or video.

We appreciate your help in making Wikipedia better for everyone. If I made a mistake, feel free to undo my edit. If you have any questions, you can ask at the Help desk.

Thank you! --XLinkBot (talk) 15:55, 15 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to United States Senate election in Hawaii, 2012. While objective prose about beliefs, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you. Our Campaigns

[edit]

Our Campaigns is not a reputable source that can proved a valid proof of someone running for office. And, I am in complete agreement with what the other editors have said above, Wikipedia is not for self-promotion. America69 (talk) 18:36, 27 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Just to add that I agree with America69, that website isn't a reputable source. If you can find another one, please feel free to add it. Tiller54 (talk) 15:32, 28 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I feel that OurCampaigns is a useful source of statistical material, particularly on historical races. However, they are not a suitable venue for trying to claim that Roco is a recognized candidate. We need solid evidence from the press. In the meantime, Roco needs a warning here, given his pattern of edits. --Orange Mike | Talk 20:09, 28 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This is your last warning. The next time you use Wikipedia for soapboxing, promotion or advertising, as you did at United States Senate election in Hawaii, 2012, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. --Orange Mike | Talk 20:09, 28 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
