Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, Johnshaqi, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as Johnshaqi, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's content policies and may not be retained. In short, the topic of an article must be notable and have already been the subject of publication by reliable and independent sources.

Please review Your first article for an overview of the article creation process. The Article Wizard is available to help you create an article, where it will be reviewed and considered for publication. For information on how to request a new article that can be created by someone else, see Requested articles. If you are stuck, come to the Teahouse, where experienced Wikipedians can help you through the processes.

A tag has been placed on Johnshaqi, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Information icon Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions; however, it appears you may have written a Wikipedia article about yourself, at Johnshaqi. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – please see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). If you wish to add to or change an existing article about yourself, you are welcome to propose the changes by visiting the article's talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was the page I created deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss this with the deleting administrator. Thank you. I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
    1. understand what you have been blocked for,
    2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    3. will make useful contributions instead.

Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. only (talk) 20:23, 29 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I want to make a good page next time. I have read Wikipedia policies Johnshaqi (talk) 20:50, 29 August 2020 (UTC)

Accept reason:

I will remove the block per your agreement below to not edit about yourself and do as suggested. Please ask if you have any questions. 331dot (talk) 07:28, 27 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

You won't be permitted to write about yourself, so what topics do you want to write about? 331dot (talk) 21:27, 29 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I want to write a articles about a great book. Johnshaqi (talk) 22:33, 29 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
You only need one open request; additional comments can be standard comments like this. Writing an article is very difficult, the most difficult thing to do on Wikipedia. Most new users fail in their first attempts and get discouraged; I don't want you to have bad feelings. Would you agree to use the new user tutorial and use Articles for Creation to create and submit a draft for review by another editor? Would you also agree to not edit about yourself? 331dot (talk) 22:51, 29 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I agree with you Sir.Johnshaqi (talk) 07:56, 30 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Materialscientist, I'm wondering if this user's agreement to not edit about themselves is sufficient or if you have unaddressed concerns. Thanks 331dot (talk) 10:09, 30 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Maybe we should ping Materialscientist. Vanjagenije (talk) 23:47, 18 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Materialscientist does not respond to pings. --Deepfriedokra (talk) 07:05, 27 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon This is your only warning; if you use Wikipedia for soapboxing, promotion or advertising again, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. You are violating your unblock condition by continuing to relentlessly self promote. Please stop. @331dot: -- Deepfriedokra (talk) 17:48, 30 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

FWIW, Never saw a file so flagrantly used for self promotion -- Deepfriedokra (talk) 17:51, 30 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
And by that I mean the versions I deleted here, not the copy on commons. -- Deepfriedokra (talk) 17:57, 30 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
