The "new" guidelines came into force in June last year, and are explained here: Wikipedia:Days_of_the_year#Direct_citations. And do be careful, when adding entries, to use only reliable sources. Deb (talk) 08:22, 12 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Dancing on Ice Series 12

[edit]

I like that new idea of of adding the songs but not on the table & with an extra note otherwise it will spoil everything. Let's keep it that way! --Annamargarita0 (talk) 13:28, 17 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Ah, glad we could reach a compromise! I just thought it was silly adding in a reference, only to not do anything with the information. JorWat (talk) 13:53, 17 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Dancing on Ice (series 12)

[edit]

Can I ask what proof you have that Oscar Peter is Caprice’s new partner. From the reference added it just says he’s her coach. Not partner.Dancingwithdivas (talk) 23:59, 20 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I'll admit there's nothing that explicitly says he's her new partner. At best, we have statements like "It’s thought that she will now be paired up with professional skater Oscar Peter." I will point out, however, that he's in this group photo, with a comment from Alex Murphy saying "And welcome to the family @katie_and_oscar". JorWat (talk) 09:16, 21 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
https://twitter.com/BPBArena/status/1219510433301831680 There you go. I think that's pretty definitive. JorWat (talk) 21:05, 21 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

An article you recently created, List of Dancing on Ice contestants, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 05:29, 7 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The page this is inspired by, List of Strictly Come Dancing contestants, also has no citations. I don't know how I would provide citations for this. JorWat (talk) 08:51, 7 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

On the Week 1 table of Dancing on Ice (series 14) thanks for changing Bez’s song, can you add the #Happy Mondays version so the link is directed to the Happy Mondays version to "Step On" — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2A01:4C8:C04:750D:9022:D1C2:2368:1307 (talk) 21:39, 16 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Dancing on Ice Series 14

[edit]

About Alexandra Schauman, do you think we should rename her to just Alex but that's how she's credited? --Annamargarita0 (talk) 11:04, 23 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Not sure I'm the guy to ask, but if that's what the show is calling her, then I guess we should. She has gone by Alex in an earlier series. I say we do what was done for the Series 9 on Wikipedia: list her as 'Alexandra Schauman' in the 'Couples' section, but say 'Connor & Alex' elsewhere. Though I'd wait for the show tonight to air, just to confirm they're using 'Alex' this year. JorWat (talk) 12:51, 23 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

It's like for Dan Whiston, for Series 1 to Series 7 he's was credited as Daniel Whiston but from Series 8 to 10 as Dan. --Annamargarita0 (talk) 13:38, 23 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

She's was credited as Alexandra on the program but Alex on Twitter. --Annamargarita0 (talk) 06:49, 24 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Stephen Mulhern is going be guest hosting with Holly as Phillip was tested positive with COVID-19 & Arlene Phillips is going to be a guest judge on week 6. --Annamargarita0 (talk) 10:33, 4 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

It's been confirmed that the final will be on 27 March because on the 20 March, ITV are showing the FA quarter final. --Annamargarita0 (talk) 19:05, 9 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
