License tagging for Image:Maristchicago.JPG
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Maristchicago.JPG. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 09:06, 19 February 2007 (UTC)
The article Impact Networking has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group or service and which would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 05:18, 29 June 2007 (UTC)
Please do not remove speedy deletion notices
[edit]Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from articles you have created yourself, as you did with Sureshot. Please use the {{hangon}} template on the page instead if you disagree with the deletion. Thank you. --Pilotboi / talk / contribs 07:10, 8 August 2007 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free media (Image:Fast track xlg.jpg)
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Fast track xlg.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

File source problem with File:Tammyandtrex.JPG
[edit]Thank you for uploading File:Tammyandtrex.JPG. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of that website's terms of use of its content. However, if the copyright holder is a party unaffiliated from the website's publisher, that copyright should also be acknowledged.
If you have uploaded other files, consider verifying that you have specified sources for those files as well. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged per Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion, F4. If the image is copyrighted and non-free, the image will be deleted 48 hours after 07:24, 23 May 2010 (UTC) per speedy deletion criterion F7. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Leo 07:24, 23 May 2010 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content, as you did to the article Jennifer Aniston, please cite a reliable source for the content of your edit. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. See Wikipedia:Citing sources for how to cite sources, and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Disambiguation link notification for August 6
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Bebe Stores, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Aeropostale (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Reference Errors on 24 March
[edit]Hello, I'm ReferenceBot. I have automatically detected that an edit performed by you may have introduced errors in referencing. It is as follows:
- On the Trip hop page, your edit caused an unnamed parameter error (help). (Fix | Ask for help)
Please check this page and fix the errors highlighted. If you think this is a false positive, you can report it to my operator. Thanks, ReferenceBot (talk) 00:25, 25 March 2014 (UTC)
Kevin Love height
[edit]As Bagumba correctly stated in this edit summary, by long and stable consensus we use official height and weight in the player infobox. If there is a substantial question about the accuracy of a listed height or weight and that issue has been covered in reliable sources, it can be discussed in the text of the article. See Bill Walton and Hakeem Olajuwon for prominent examples, and Wikipedia talk:WikiProject National Basketball Association/Archive 12#Player height in the template--"official" or "actual"? for one discussion of the consensus practice. --Arxiloxos (talk) 16:41, 26 March 2014 (UTC)
Problems with upload of File:Ted2trailerleak.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Ted2trailerleak.jpg. You don't seem to have said where the image came from, who created it, or provided a license tag. We require this information to verify that the image is legally usable on Wikipedia, and because most image licenses require giving credit to the image's creator.
To add this information, select the appropriate license tag from this list, click on this link, then click the "Edit" tab at the top of the page and add the information to the image's description. If you can't find a suitable license tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. If you need help, post your question on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 12:05, 30 November 2014 (UTC)

You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. [edit]Care to explain why you ignored the talk page consensus (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Sound_of_Freedom_(film)#Reaching_a_consensus_on_the_%22Accuracy%22_section) and clear sourcing and unilaterally wiped out an entire section? 73.206.167.225 (talk) 15:50, 11 July 2023 (UTC)
Hi Jpeterson101, it might not have been your intention, but you have joined an edit war there. One that led to full page protection earlier, and a discussion in which noone managed to successfully argue for removal.
You are invited to the subsequent larger discussion now at Talk:Sound of Freedom (film) § RfC: QAnon. Please wait until that RfC has been formally closed after about 30 days instead of reverting further.
Thank you very much in advance and best regards,
