What does AutoConfirmed or Confirmed mean? KaiExpo (talk) 13:15, 19 February 2019 (UTC)
- Autoconfirmed means that you are permitted to create new articles; you are autoconfirmed when your account is at least four days old and has at least 10 edits. Confirmed simply means you are manually confirmed instead of autoconfirmed; that is rarely done as most users get autoconfirmed. 331dot (talk) 13:29, 19 February 2019 (UTC)

Request reason:
I talked to my brother and he said that he wouldn’t do it again and I have regained control of the account no one else is using it.
Decline reason:
Sorry, compromised accounts may not be unblocked. --jpgordon𝄢𝄆 𝄐𝄇 16:09, 19 February 2019 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
How do we know that you are not your little brother pretending to be you? Can you see the problem here? We do not know who is sitting at the computer making edits using this account. 331dot (talk) 15:49, 19 February 2019 (UTC)
How can I prove that it was him then?
- You really can't, that's the problem with not keeping your account secure or allowing access to it by others. Are you sure it was your brother that messed around and not you? That said, another administrator will review your request, and if they are satisfied, they may unblock you without consulting me. 331dot (talk) 16:00, 19 February 2019 (UTC)
I am sure it was my brother, also now I know that I should sign out after I get off of Wikipedia, so he would have to sign in and he doesn’t know my password. KaiExpo (talk) 16:04, 19 February 2019 (UTC)
- You will now need to read WP:COMPROMISED and follow the guidance there to be able to resume editing. 331dot (talk) 16:18, 19 February 2019 (UTC)
What if I don’t have another device to make another account with? KaiExpo (talk) 16:24, 19 February 2019 (UTC)
- Then you will need to use the computer of a friend, relative, school, public library, or anywhere else. 331dot (talk) 16:26, 19 February 2019 (UTC)
When I get a new account... 331dot are you someone who would adopt me? 🤔🧐🤔 KaiExpo (talk) 16:47, 19 February 2019 (UTC)
- Adopting users is not something that I participate in, but you may visit WP:ADOPT to find someone who will. 331dot (talk) 16:53, 19 February 2019 (UTC)

Request reason:
1st, My account is not Compromised. 2nd, everyone in my school is making a Wikipedia account today on the school iPads and well we all have the same IP address. Also, I promise not to let anyone onto my account especially my brother.
Decline reason:
Sorry, we have no idea who now controls your account, do we. As for all the other kids at school, let this be a lesson to them and their little brothers. While it is touching that there is so much interest in Wikipedia, it is for the best that the underlying IP also remain blocked for now. The best you could hope for is that a school administrator follow instructions when they see the IP is blocked. They would need to verify that they are a scholl official and so forth. Posts should generally be placed at the bottom of the page, for better flow. 331dot (talk) 17:07, 19 February 2019 (UTC)
Ok thanks KaiExpo (talk) 17:08, 19 February 2019 (UTC)
Hello? KaiExpo (talk) 17:34, 19 February 2019 (UTC)
- Another administrator will review your request, but honestly, I doubt they will unblock you. 331dot (talk) 17:36, 19 February 2019 (UTC)
Ok... 😭😭😭
Well can’t they just unblock the IP ban, but not this account?
- That will be up to the reviewing administrator. So your brother used your account at school? 331dot (talk) 17:45, 19 February 2019 (UTC)
We were suppose to do it last night, but so many people didn’t that they are having them do it during school today. He did it this morning before school.
SADNESSSSSSSSSSS
- I'm very sorry that you are sad, no one wants that. However, this should serve as an important life lesson to you to secure your online accounts, not just Wikipedia, but any account- so that this sort of thing doesn't happen to you. At least here, it is only Wikipedia and not your bank account or social media page. 331dot (talk) 18:08, 19 February 2019 (UTC)
Ok I created a new account named NerdyKaiExpo
- User:NerdyKaiExpo has also now been compromised. You really need to learn how to secure your accounts online. Yunshui 雲水 13:47, 2 May 2019 (UTC)
