Hey, KaisaL, as you can see, I've handled your username request. Please be sure to use this as your username when logging in going forward. Also, keep in mind that your SUL hasn't changed; renames are local only, so if you want your accounts on the other projects to be merged with this one, you'll have to go to the other projects and make the same username change request there. File permission problem with File:Sector7seven-Sept04-1.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Sector7seven-Sept04-1.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. Proposed deletion of Benjamin Alvaro

[edit]

The article Benjamin Alvaro has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Not notable.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Notification of pending suspension of administrative permissions due to inactivity

[edit]

Information icon Following a community discussion in June 2011, consensus was reached to provisionally suspend the administrative permissions of users who have been inactive for one year (i.e. administrators who have not made any edits or logged actions in more than one year). As a result of this discussion, your administrative permissions will be removed pending your return if you do not return to activity within the next month. If you wish to have these permissions reinstated should this occur, please post to the Wikipedia:Bureaucrats' noticeboard and the userright will be restored per the re-sysopping process (i.e. as long as the attending bureaucrats are reasonably satisfied that your account has not been compromised, that your inactivity did not have the effect of evading scrutiny of any actions which might have led to sanctions, and that you have not been inactive for a three-year period of time). If you remain inactive for a three-year period of time, including the present year you have been inactive, you will need to request reinstatement at WP:RFA. This removal of access is procedural only, and not intended to reflect negatively upon you in any way. We wish you the best in future endeavors, and thank you for your past administrative efforts. Article Mecachrome contribution

[edit]

Hi,

I'm a new one on the Wikipedia contribution page. I wanted to add an article about a joint-venture of Mecachrome, Teos Powertrain Engineering, but administrators have deleted the article. As you are the creator of the main page "Mecachrome" , maybe you can advice me or help to publish this article, so it won't be deleted soon. The article is not so big, but after, I want to add some more information on pages like Mecachrome, GP2 and GP3 series

Here is the body of the text, which was deleted:

"Teos Powertrain Engineering – is a French engineering company specialized in propulsion systems. The company is based in Montigny-le-Bretonneux, Île-de-France region. Teos Powertrain Engineering was established in 2011 as a joint-venture between Mecachrome and D2T (owned by IFP Energies Nouvelles).

The company is active in aeronautic, automotive and motorsport industries. Teos focuses on the design and development of powertrain systems, such as gasoline and Diesel combustion engines, electric and hybrid powertrains, and associated gearboxes.

The main projects where the company is involved are: P.U.R.E Project and Clean Sky project."

Abdul Hakim Ansari and Tauheediyah page deletion review

[edit]

Hi KaisaL! I noticed that you have deleted pages Abdul Hakim Ansari and Tauheediyah. I would like to say that these pages have been modified many times without any logic. It can be seen in page editing history. I could not understand exactly, why pages were deleted now. As far as there is concern of WP:SOCK, i have been editing continuously while i was not sign in. I never considered it as something wrong. To me, if i edit something on wikipedia page it should satisfy research parameters. I have followed that in all my page editing.
Regarding my affiliation to subject, yes. i am affiliated to the subject but my affiliation itself is research based. I have written a lot on innovative ideas to see God, paradize, and so on before death. Abdul Hakim Ansari introduced these ideas among Muslims in mid of twentieth century. He started a religious chain and named it Tauheediyah. This idea is not acceptable to most of the Muslims and they feel to much discomfort. To be in comfort or trouble does not mean that ideas should be dropped back the curtain. I firmly believe that these encyclopedia pages should exist on wikipedia that is the largest as well as influential secondary source. A lot of primary sources such as newspaper articles, journal articles, and magazines has also published to much on these religious thoughts.
Regarding deletion debate, i think its concluding time period was too short. It was the time when there are summer break in educational institutions and public holidays in Pakistan. To me counting less matters than logic. If i could convince you on sound grounds then consider deletion review. Let me know if i can do something positively in this regard.
Wish to see your kind feedback. Syed Rahmat Ullah Shah (talk) 23:08, 1 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@Rahmatgee: Hi Syed! I did indeed close those debates as a delete. I felt that the consensus was to delete, as the arguments to keep it seemed to solely be coming from yourself. The dual comments from both a user account and IP address did not help, you are correct. I should point out that I'm neutral to the topic, which is why I closed it - I did not disclose my opinions either way and I'm not invested in it myself.
Your comment about it being summer break is an interesting one. I would recommend, and I'm happy to support your right to do this, that you take it to Wikipedia:Deletion review. Make your case there and editors will decide whether the AFD should be re-opened or the article restored. I can't reverse the decision myself, but I will not object if other editors make the decision to do so. As I say, I was only the closing admin on a debate. I hope this helps! Timothy Elisha McPherson Jr. & Central Solar Reserve Bank of Accompong

[edit]

Hello KaisaL, Unfortunately our administration is still trying to figure out how best to use Wikipedia. We have noticed that the entry on our Minister of Finance, Timothy Elisha McPherson Jr., was recently deleted, and we see that you are having some discussion with regards to the Central Solar Reserve Bank of Accompong. Please be advised that the Central Solar Reserve Bank of Accompong has been an active state institution since 2014. The fact that the LUMI is scheduled for circulation in late 2016 does does preclude or exclude the current activities of the institution which is crucial for our current government. Furthermore, there has been no illegal activities involving this institution whatsoever. It is a very important component of Accompong's climate change initiative. Sadly, a small faction which is opposed to the Government's current developmental policy and climate change initiative has used Facebook and other social medias to create negative publicity against the government. We have taken legal actions in this regard, however, Ripoff Report does not remove postings after they have been posted, and our discussions with Facebook are ongoing. We kindly request that you re-publish the entry on Minister McPherson, and that you take no actions against the entry involving the Central Solar Reserve Bank of Accompong. As a micro-state with limited resources we do not have the ability to constantly be on top of your postings, talks and/or requests, however we shall certainly seek to comply with the procedures of Wikipedia.

@Maroon Master: Hi. I did indeed delete the article on Timothy Elisha McPherson Jr. after a deletion debate. I was a third party to this debate, and closed it based on the consensus of the discussion between Wikipedia users. Arguments were made that Timothy Elisha McPherson Jr. did not meet the notability guidelines for an article on Wikipedia, and no case was made against that, and I actioned that reasonable consensus. It was a small debate, but I'm confident in that decision. The article on the Central Solar Reserve Bank of Accompong has not been nominated for deletion but, as I cannot speak for all editors of Wikipedia, I cannot promise it will not also be subject to such a debate.
You are welcome to participate in these deletion discussions, but obviously the fact that you are directly involved would be seen as a conflict of interest. I hope this answers your question? KaisaL (talk) 23:42, 1 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your prompt response. Perhaps we do not properly understand this deletion process. The postings on our governmental officials are important, and Minister McPherson is of significant "prominence". How can we best apply information to Wikipedia then? Thank you.

Maroon Master, I reviewed the closure of the deletion discussion, KaisaL closed the deletion discussion correctly. Deletion discussions are based on consensus (at the discussion), and the decision to include an article about somebody is based on the general notability guidelines, specifically if the person has been the subject of significant coverage in reliable sources. This is particularly important for living people. The consensus at the discussion was that MR. McPherson was not. Regards, --kelapstick(bainuu) 00:06, 2 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for the input, we will seek to address those issues/concerns raised during the consensus.

Maroon Master, you may wish to use the articles for creation process. So you can work on the article without worrying about it's deletion, and get some feedback in the process. --kelapstick(bainuu) 00:28, 2 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Namit Bajoria

[edit]

Hi KaisaL The page on Namit Bajoria created by us with the intention of providing information on the works of an upcoming entrepreneur who is pioneering various social and innovative causes in Eastern India. Since I am no way related to Mr. Bajoria, the question of advertising does not arise and I strongly feel the need of general public to know about his works. A similar person also has presence in Wikipedia. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harshavardhan_Neotia So I am unable to understand the reason why the page I created had to be deleted. Request you to reconsider Thanks and Regards Confiance Mobility (talk) 13:02, 2 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

  • @Confiance Mobility: Hi! Firstly, welcome to Wikipedia. The problem with the page even before notability was that the text was a potential copyright infringement. Huge portions of it - particularly the part about Namit "wearing many hats" - were copied from elsewhere, and this isn't allowed. If you would like to recreate the article without copying text from elsewhere, it can be assessed on notability grounds, but it did read like a vanity article. You may wish to use the article wizard so experienced users can help you to make it appropriate for the encyclopedia. I hope this helps! KaisaL (talk) 13:07, 2 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
