Thank you for adding this article. I'm wondering though about the line mentioning American Indians and settlers who used B. koreana for medical puposes. Does the book by Burrows really refer to the koreana species in this context? I'd really be surprised if a shrub that is native to Korea would have been a traditional remedy in North America. Can you please check that? Regards, De728631 (talk) 16:26, 2 July 2012 (UTC)

DYK for Berberis koreana
[edit]On 28 July 2012, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Berberis koreana, which you created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that chemicals in Korean Barberry might have antibacterial and antitumor properties? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Berberis koreana. You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, quick check) and it will be added to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page. |
