March 2012[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. One of the core policies of Wikipedia is that articles should always be written from a neutral point of view. A contribution you made to Rambhau Mhalgi Prabodhini appears to carry a non-neutral point of view, and your edit may have been changed or reverted to correct the problem. Please remember to observe this. Thank you. AndieM13 (Leave a message!) 10:02, 26 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

In response to your feedback[edit]

I'll link you to or tutorial first, for you to learn the ropes, so to speak. See WP:Upload for uploading images.

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Rambhau Mhalgi Prabodhini requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. A tag has been placed on Rambhau Mhalgi Prabodhini requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Prithvik Pratap moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Prithvik Pratap, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Hello Kunalgadahire. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat SEO.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Kunalgadahire. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Kunalgadahire|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. Praxidicae (talk) 13:16, 7 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Sarkarnama Portal, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. @Aanyaumair, I would like to appeal and contest deletion of this page.
1] Sarkarnama Portal is online news portal by Sakal Media Group. It is one of the leading news portal dedicated to political news in Maharashtra in marathi language. [1]
2] Sarkarnama Portal has won bronze award at Abby's award - 2018 for it's digital launch.
3] Wikipedia does have independent pages for many news portal, who are not even backed by or operated by large media groups like Sakal. Some of them are very fresh comparatively to Sarakaranama Portal.
4] I believe, deletion decision of this page is language biased and reflect inability of respective wikipedias to understand importance of regional Indian journalism domain. As I mentioned earlier, many independent news portals, who are mainly in English Language does have active and stable pages on Wikipedia.
5] Also, content of Sarkarnama wikipedia page was hardly couple of lines + unbiased with valid references without advertising context. However, appropriate tag for content moderation could have been place instead of page deletion action.
Kindly suggest me appropriate way to open fresh appeal against deletion of this page. Kunalgadahire (talk) 16:57, 24 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Bring your questions to the Teahouse where experienced editors can offer you advice and support. But please drop the talk about "bias", we are all volunteers here, doing the best job we can and making accusations against the editors here will not bring you the result you are seeking. Being polite and asking questions for more information on the processes at work here on Wikipedia, like you do above, is more effective than talking about appeals. This isn't a courtroom, it's a collaborative editing project and we all have to learn to work with each other, even though we are editors coming from very different places in the world, we need to cooperate. Realize that you are coming in asking for help and that the editing community here is just people, giving up their free time to make this place better. A simple "Thank you" when someone gives up their time to come to your assistance would be appreciated. Liz Read! Talk! 19:52, 24 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for your response. I do understand this is not court room and wikpedians spend their valuable time to create fact based content. I will take appropriate measures in future. I will put my queries to Teahouse. Thanks for invitation. Kunalgadahire (talk) 19:58, 24 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
