Among the Missing
[edit]I haven't seen your name on the Ref Desks in months. I am glad to see you are still here and doing good work on other aspects of WP. I just wanted you to know that your absence has been noted, unhappily. ៛ BL ៛ (talk) 05:05, 15 February 2009 (UTC)

Champagne capitalization
[edit]While you done a lot of great work in fixing double redirects, you frequently have been improperly changing the capitalization of Champagne. As a proper noun, Champagne should always be capitalized. For reference, there is a discussion at Talk:Champagne_(wine)#Champagne_capitalization with some info. If you have additional questions, feel free to drop by the Wine Project Talk page. AgneCheese/Wine 19:29, 7 June 2009 (UTC)
Re: Speed of the Eurasian Sparrowhawk
[edit]Hello. Thanks for the feedback on the Eurasian Sparrowhawk article. I've made some amendments which hopefully make the sentence easier to understand. Katie. Bogbumper (talk) 07:09, 3 July 2009 (UTC)
Could you please discuss...
[edit]You applied a {{prod}} to Basij_(Afghan_student_organization).
I left a note on Talk:Basij_(Afghan_student_organization). If you are still concerned -- could you please discuss your concern more fully on the talk page?
How do you know Tukhi was a resident of the Iranian group? How do you know he was a member of Iranian group? Herat, where our sources say Tukhi is from, has many persion speakers. I don't think our sources show he lived in Iran. It is quite possible. But, I suggest it is possible that Farsi speaking Afghans, who live close to Iran, might start a group similar to the Iranian group, just as we can find boy scouts and Hell's Angels in countries throughout the Anglosphere.

[edit]Thanks for help and do you know Turkish extremely? Lumoy (talk) 15:42, 10 August 2009 (UTC)
- No, I live in Ankara, the Capital City, can we speak Turkish if it is possible, my english is bad a little :) Lumoy (talk) 18:01, 11 August 2009 (UTC)
Anniversary Song and Waltz
[edit]Hi. I have just put a little note on the two pages. I am pretty sure - the two are completely different songs. I think the Anniversary Song is often mistakenly called Anniversary Waltz. I made this same mistake a while ago. Best wishes (Msrasnw (talk) 15:48, 13 August 2009 (UTC))
Teabagging
[edit]Hi, can you help watch this? People keep trying to blank your astroturfing paragraph, despite evidence to the contrary -- also, the teabagger link in astroturfing#See also. -74.242.253.155 (talk) 14:26, 21 August 2009 (UTC)
RE : Who is an "involved party"?
[edit]In such cases, it is recommended that the following be listed as "involved party" :
- The initiator for the request
- The editor in question being blocked
- The blocking administrator(s)
- The first editor/admin who brought this issue to ANI for review, if applicable
- Any editor/admin whose action or behaviour you believe stands out sufficiently to reviewed by the Arbitration Committee.
Please take note that any omission of editor in the initial request does not mean that he/she can't be named as a party or be part of any motion set by the Committee. Likewise, not all involved parties may be sanctioned or addressed by the Committee in its motions, if the case is accepted. Hope this helps.
Usually editors who have a part, how little it may be, would comment on the request when initially filed. However, this does not mean that they will definitely be included as an involved party (unless the Committee or handling clerk determines otherwise)
- Best regards, Mailer Diablo 13:07, 30 August 2009 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Template:Redirect7
[edit]The article Template:Redirect7 has been proposed for deletion. The proposed-deletion notice added to the article should explain why.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on [[Talk:Template:Redirect7|the article's talk page]].
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}}
will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
Hi Lambiam, I think that this is a pretty clear case of a template that isn't useful any more. There are plenty of other redirectN templates and this one isn't even documented. Cheers, — sligocki (talk) 23:14, 21 September 2009 (UTC)

[edit]I noticed that you have removed some references from quotes; FYI, references are required at the end of quotes, per Wikipedia:Cite#When_quoting_someone. Gary King (talk) 21:39, 2 November 2009 (UTC)
