July 2017[edit]

Hello, I'm TheSandDoctor. I noticed that in this edit to North American T-6 Texan, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. TheSandDoctor (talk) 17:00, 6 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Danbury Municipal Airport, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use the sandbox for that. Thank you. Again... it was never my intention to remove anything. To my knowledge I only added a link. Danbury Airport is part of the book, whose website I linked.

Conflict of Interest[edit]

Information icon Hello, LauraOC. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places, or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic, and it is important when editing Wikipedia articles that such connections be completely transparent. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, we ask that you please:

  • avoid editing or creating articles related to you and your family, friends, school, company, club, or organization, as well as any competing companies' projects or products;
  • instead, you are encouraged to propose changes on the Talk pages of affected article(s) (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • when discussing affected articles, disclose your COI (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or to the website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Please take a few moments to read and review Wikipedia's policies regarding conflicts of interest, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies. Thank you. MilborneOne (talk) 18:32, 6 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@MilborneOne I read the terms of use, and it said that if I have a connection with the content posted I have to disclose that in my edit summary. Which I did. COI is not what the original guy said it was removed for. He harassed me about how it was irrelevant content. It is not. It is a book abut a T-6 Texan. He also removed my content from the Danbury Airport page for an unstated reason. The author is from Danbury & the book is based in Danbury Airport. He said I removed content from both pages with no valid reason. The only thing, to my knowledge, that was removed were extra spaces & returns at the bottom of the external links to make my content match, and be in line with, the existing content format. At this point, I am being harassed for no reason.
