October 2020[edit]

Information icon Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit you made to Grosvenor Square, did not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use your sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. Information icon Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Novello Theatre. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. DoebLoggs (talk) 09:51, 1 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Cambridge Union, appears to have been inappropriate, and has been reverted. Your edit included at least one misplaced external link. If you intended them to be references, please read Referencing for beginners. Thank you. Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did at The Ritz Hotel, London, you may be blocked from editing. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. David Biddulph (talk) 10:04, 2 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hi Lemiwiks! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia – it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you.
