poppies
[edit]Hallo, I came across Poppy (cuisine) while Stubsorting. It has overlaps with this section of Opium Poppy. I wonder: is the Opium poppy the only kind of poppy used for food? If so, perhaps it would be better just to expand that article and make this title into a redirect to it. If not, then it makes sense to continue with your new article, but to make sure that they each link clearly to the other one. I suggest that "Poppy seeds" might be the better title for your article (at present it's a redirect to Poppy, so the rename would need to go to WP:Requested moves), if the article continues to exist. Whatever happens you need to add a link from the page at Poppy (disambiguation). Aaaargh: just discovered that while Poppy seed is a redirect to Opium poppy, Poppyseed and Poppy seeds go to Poppy, and there's nothing at Poppyseeds! Needs some tidying. Userboxes
[edit]Hi, You asked how to get them...
- one way is just to copy and paste from anyone's user page where there's one that you like
- or have a look at Wikipedia:Userboxes, follow links from section 4 (or "Skip to gallery"), and enjoy the choice, then copy and paste the code as you like.
If there's one you almost like but want to tweak, you could try putting it on your page with "subst:" after the opening double curly brackets; then save your page, so it gets expanded, and if you can see the bit you want to change, change it. (If not and you don't like it, you can just delete the whole expanded lot anyway). That's how I generated my retired librarian and "used to work at" boxes! Good luck. The article Navy Children School, Mumbai has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Article based on primary sources. Fails WP:NSCHOOL.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
