Welcome!

Thank you for your kind comments – they were very helpful. I was browsing through many biographies in Wikipedia and I feel that there is some bias in “pricing” so much special kind of people. I think it reflects the ideological prejudice of some people who review articles. I would be happy to contribute to improve Wikipedia by presenting more conservative view. However I would be grateful if you, or sb else, could help to cope with some technical “curiosities”. Some time you need to read many pages to find answer for a very specific detail. - Could you link to your draft? --Nerd1a4i (talk) 17:40, 11 January 2018 (UTC)
- Sorry, are you referring to your user page, about Zbigniew Leś? If so, copy-paste it into the WP:Article wizard to get it reviewed by other editors. --Nerd1a4i (talk) 17:42, 11 January 2018 (UTC)
- @LiniO:, I have created the page Draft:Zbigniew Leś for you using the content on your user page. If you follow that link, you will see a large grey box at the top of the page with the instructions you need to follow to submit your biography of Leś to the Articles for Creation process. Good luck. How do I know if a new article is under review

Please help me with... I have submitted a new article for review (with your help) but how do I know that it is under review? Nobody contacted me. Linio

- I am assuming you are referring to Draft:Zbigniew Leś. If you notice the comment at the top of the draft, you should see that it is waiting for review and that review may take as long as a coupld of months. The Articles for Creation process is very seriously backlogged and we are recruiting additional reviewers with the sort of experience needed to help at AfC.
- I can say after a brief look that your draft will likely be declined in its current state because it does not demonstrate the subject's notability with in-line citations to independent sources. While you are waiting for a review, there is no reason why you cannot continue to improve the article by adding suitable references. Be sure you have mastered the material in your first article and referencing for beginners. This is a very good start on an article, so if you can find references that establish notability (in the peculiar sense that word has on WP), it will likely be accepted. — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 17:34, 15 January 2018 (UTC)

[edit] Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your user subpage at User:LiniO may not meet Wikipedia's user page guideline. If you believe that your user page does not violate our guideline, please leave a note on this page. Alternatively, you may add {{Db-u1}}
to the top of the page in question and an administrator will delete it, or you can simply edit the page so that it meets Wikipedia's user page guideline.
Your user page is a place to write about yourself and your Wikipedia efforts. It is not a place to develop article content. For that, you would normally want to use a sandbox or userspace draft. In this instance, since you already have created Draft:Zbigniew Leś, you can simply blank your userpage and start over to stay in compliance with policy. — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 17:48, 15 January 2018 (UTC)
- I guess I should have read more carefully to note that Draft:Zbigniew Leś was created on your behalf. — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 17:49, 15 January 2018 (UTC)
