Proposed deletion of Madhurya Bhakti[edit]

The article Madhurya Bhakti has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Article does not make it clear what this is promoting

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Disambiguation link notification for March 30[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Madhurya Bhakti, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Devotees. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Redirect[edit]

I have redirected your Madhurya Bhakti page to Bhakti#Bhavas. The article you wrote was unsourced and highly biased, and largely covered material already available at the existing article. Please do not create content forks: Wikipedia should have only one article on a given topic. If you have well-sourced material to add to the existing article, please do so. Lipipuspa, I tried to explain the problem above, but perhaps I wasn't clear enough. Your version of the Madhurya Bhakti page was written very much from the point of view of a practitioner of this form of devotion. It was something of a prayer guide, a "how to practice Madhurya Bhakti, the 'most exalted form of devotion'". But Wikipedia is not a how-to guide. We don't write prayer guides or personal reflections on worship. We're creating an encyclopedia here for the entire world to read, not just an article for devotees or would-be devotees of this particular form of worship. And since the Bhakti article already discusses the philosophy underlying the devotion in much clearer, and more neutral terms, it is unnecessary and undesirable to split that content into a new article. I know you spent a great deal of time on this article, and perhaps you can find another outlet for your writing. But it is not correct for Wikipedia and what we are trying to accomplish here. @WikiDan61: This is not a prayer. This is a philosophy of divine love and how to attain the ultimate bliss. Since I found there is no page which describes it better, so I created this page. If in the Bhakti#Bhavas , the writer had described it accurately then I wouldn't have described it in my Madhurya Bhakti page.

@WikiDan61: If it is not the right place, then I would like to know for what purpose wikipedia is created. For the right information or for the wrong information ?

Discussion is needed[edit]

Your edits at Madhurya Bhakti have been undone by three separate editors, and yet you insist on having your version. I have opened a discussion at Talk:Madhurya Bhakti which I invited you to join, but you have not. Wikipedia is a collaborative project and works on the basis of consensus. You have refused to enter into the discussion to build the required consensus. I have once again restored the article as a redirect to Bhakti. Please enter the discussion before restoring your content to the article. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 11:01, 8 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
