Welcome!
[edit]Welcome!
Hello, MAx Kermit, and welcome to Wikipedia! I have noticed that you are fairly new! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. I also see that some of your recent edits show an interest in the use of images and/or photos on Wikipedia.
Did you know that ...
- ...Wikipedia has a very stringent image use policy?
- ...most images from Flickr, online news websites, and other web sources are copyrighted?
- ...Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously?
- ...freely-licensed images should be uploaded to Wikimedia Commons, a central location for images where they can be used on all Wikipedia projects?
- ...we recommend that new users use our "files for upload" process – at least until you get the hang of things?
If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{Help me}}
on your user page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution
[edit] Hi MAx Kermit! Thank you for your edits to Angus & Julia Stone. It looks like you've copied or moved text from Snow (Angus & Julia Stone album) into that page, and while you are welcome to re-use the content, Wikipedia's licensing requires that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution
. If you've copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thanks! DanCherek (talk) 04:36, 14 January 2024 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for April 9
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Cape Forestier, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Acoustic and Folk. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, --DPL bot (talk) 18:03, 9 April 2024 (UTC)

Regarding this edit and your creation of Enough Of The Sweet Talk, please see our capitalisation guidelines at MOS:CT and MOS:CAPS. Thanks. Ss112 14:54, 4 June 2024 (UTC)
- You have again disregarded our capitalisation guidelines by creating Noah Kahan Discography when I think you've been editing long enough to know discography articles have a lower-case "d". You additionally introduced totally unnecessary repeated citations and badly formatted spacing, which I assume was done by your use of Visual Edit. These changes have been reverted. Most of what you did was just copy content from Noah Kahan to a separate page—there was no need for any alterations to be made. If Kahan or any artist is credited as "with" another artist, that is equal credit, not being a featured artist, so your "featuring artist" section has been removed. Please bear these points in mind going forward. Thank you. Ss112 14:46, 5 July 2024 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free image File:Enough Of The Sweet Talk Album art.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Enough Of The Sweet Talk Album art.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 17:10, 7 June 2024 (UTC)
