Information icon Hello, I'm 4thfile4thrank. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Hutch Davie, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. 4thfile4thrank (talk) 03:55, 5 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Firstly, thanks for your edits. But, I have a few suggestions. In particular, your citations are formatted incorrectly - you should use the <ref> ... </ref> format shown here. Also, simply listing all of a musician's works is generally frowned upon - we should concentrate on notable works that have been discussed elsewhere. And sources like www.45cat.com will be questioned, and probably removed, by some editors as they are deemed to be self-published (I don't necessarily agree, but it's a long-standing issue). Thanks. Ghmyrtle (talk) 09:03, 5 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Another editor has now spent a good slice of their own time formatting your citations. Next time, please do it properly yourself. Ghmyrtle (talk) 14:25, 8 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

You’re new to Wikipedia, so people will cut you some slack, but you need to read the above, fast. Your comment on another editor’s Talkpage was way out of line, and such behaviour is likely to see you banned. KJP1 (talk) 11:28, 5 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
