Karen Johnson[edit]

I did see your note that you were the original author of the words at the source. However, there are several problems, and it would be best to start over. One issue is that we don't know the connection between the person that is editing here, and the person that contributed to the source. While I believe you, Wikipedia requires more solid evidence. There is a process to do that, but because of other issues, I don't think it is worth pursuing. I'm not familiar with the source, so I don't know if it is subject to editorial review. It needs to be subject to editorial review in order to be a reliable source. However, if it is subject to editorial review, then the copyright is probably not owned by you, but by the publisher. It is isn't subject to editorial review, it may be (but I cannot be sure) that you retain the copyright, but it means it isn't a reliable source. Even it is can be identified as a reliable source, it is extremely rare that we want material to be used directly, as opposed to rewritten. There are some exceptions, but I don't think this is one of them.

All biographies of living people require references meeting the standards of reliable sources.

I'm going to delete the article, because it does not meet our editorial requirements. Please feel free to try again, although I urge you to start it in a user sub page, and ask for feedback before moving it into main space. See Wikipedia:Articles for creation for one option. --SPhilbrick(Talk) 13:00, 26 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
