Deletion discussion about Michael Coveto

[edit]

Hello, Mediamangy,

Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username Elmidae and it's nice to meet you :-)

I wanted to let you know that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Michael Coveto should be deleted. Your comments are welcome over Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Michael Coveto .

You might like to note that such discussions usually run for seven days and are not ballot-polls. And, our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Elmidae}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

Hi there, I have deleted the article as it is effectively identical to Michael Coveto which has already been deleted as part of a deletion discussion. Please do not recreate the article again - you are welcome to take it to deletion review or articles for creation. Please note if you have a conflict of interest and know or represent the subject of this article I'd advise you to read WP:COI. Thanks. Glen 13:40, 3 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

There have been two problems with this account: the account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia, and your username indicates that the account represents a business or other organisation or group or a web site, which is also against policy, as an account must be for just one person. Because of those problems, the account has been blocked indefinitely from editing. Additionally, if you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for your contributions to Wikipedia, you must disclose who is paying you to edit.

If you intend to make useful contributions other than promoting your business or organisation, you may request an unblock. To do so, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with a new username you are willing to use. See Special:CentralAuth to search for available usernames. Your new username will need to meet our username policy. Replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason to be unblocked. In that reason, you must:

  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
If you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal this block. To do so, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page, replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason for thinking that the block was an error, and publish the page. creffett (talk) 13:48, 3 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
