Information icon Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give a page a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases for registered users, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. I've removed the plot summaries from The Debt Collector (film series) and Lights Out (upcoming film) as the plot summaries are copied from IMDb. Knitsey (talk) 15:27, 12 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Mehrshad Adkins 01. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "The Debt Collector".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been deleted. When you plan on working on it further and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Liz Read! Talk! 18:41, 3 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Take Cover (film) moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Take Cover (film), is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Please read[edit]

I moved Take Cover to draft for a reason, it wasn't ready for article space. You not only posted it back, but did so by copy-and-paste, despite being warned above about that. Looking at your editing, do you have a conflict of interest? If so, you must declare it, and you mustn't move (yes, move) the draft without submitting for review. It's unlikely that a film not yet released meets the notability criteria for films anyway Jimfbleak - talk to me? 15:05, 22 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2023 Elections voter message[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2023 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 11 December 2023. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2023 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:37, 28 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Diablo (upcoming film) moved to draftspace[edit]

Thanks for your contributions to Diablo (upcoming film). Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it has few sources and Notability not established - see WP:NFF. Incubate in draft space until the film is released.. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. BastunĖġáḍβáś₮ŭŃ! 10:51, 26 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
