Non-free image use

[edit]

Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia. We always appreciate when users upload images. However, it appears that one or more of the images you have uploaded or added to a page, specifically Lebanese National Resistance Front, may fail our non-free image policy. Most often, this involves editors uploading or using a copyrighted image of a living person. For other possible reasons, please read up on our Non-free image criteria. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. -- Marchjuly (talk) 15:32, 25 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

stop Please stop re-adding File:PFLP flag.png to Lebanese National Resistance Front. It is a non-free file which means that each use of it needs to comply with Wikipedia's non-free content use policy. Non-free content use on Wikipedia can be tricky making a so mistake once or perhaps even twice is understandable, but repeating the same mistake over and over again is not and will eventually be seen as disruptive. Using non-free logos/flags, etc. in infoboxes as flag icons is never going to satisfy non-free content use criterion #8, so please do not re-add this file again. The next time you do, I will start a discussion at WP:ANI and ask an administrator to intervene. If you have any questions about Wikipedia's non-free content use policy, please feel free to ask for help at WP:MCQ or WT:NFCC. -- Marchjuly (talk) 12:32, 5 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been reverted.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continual disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Please stop adding these irrelevant washlists of countries to empire/entity-related articles. It was agreed long ago, that they were to be removed (see also other GA/FA-class articles of similar kind). Also, a general rule (guideline policy); start using edit summaries. - LouisAragon (talk) 12:10, 19 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The article El Hadji Malick Tall has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Information icon Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. You can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Tick Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks!
