Also remember to indent each of your comments using : so that other users can follow the flow of discussions As well as editing wikipedia you could also think about taking part in many other essential activities that make wikipedia a friendly place. Civility support[edit]
What if we had a civility investigation organization with 1 administrator and 2 normal users who can investigate civility disputes and post the results?--MrCEO 22:53, 1 August 2006 (UTC)
- MrCEO, I had a similar idea and suggested it on the Concordia proposal board, the only response I got was from ComputerJoe who didn't seem very interested and only expressed past failure. I have very little faith in the effectiveness of Concordia. And the ARBCOMM is a last resort and not a place that specializes in civility. I think a civility support team is a great idea. It will provide people, who are having trouble with other users, with a place to go to get consultation and independent opinions about any ongoing incivility. Of course this team should have no power other than to look, give their opinions on civility, make suggestions, and make notices to any wikipedia members who are behaving in an uncivil manner. Perhaps we should create a new group and let concordia wither away as it seems to be doing. Please let me know what you think. --ElectricEye (talk) 20:54, 24 August 2006 (UTC)

NEWSLETTER
Concordia is currently trying to relaunch. I, and all the members of the ex-council, wish to welcome new members to the group. We are a group who aim to promote remaining civil, in an environment where messages can easily be interpretated wrongly.
Help out now![edit]
- Try and help people remain civil! Talk to them, and help them in any way possible. Do not be afraid to use the talk page.
- Give people the Civility Barnstar.
- Make and spread some Wikitokens so people know there are people to help if they want assistance.
- Add banners or logos to your userpage to show your support.
- Suggest some ideas! Add 'em to the talk page.
We are a community, so can only work though community contributions and support. It's the helping that counts.
Decision Making[edit]
The council expired one month ago, but due to the current position of the group the current council will remain until the position of the group can be assessed, and whether it would be sensible to keep Concordia going. For most decisions, however, it will be decided by all who choose to partake in discussions. I am trying to relaunch because of the vast amounts of new members we have received, demonstrating that the aims are supported.
