Note, there is no need to mass-alter serial comma styles in articles. On the contrary, see MOS:SERIAL: "Editors may use either convention so long as each article is internally consistent." See also MOS:STYLERET. So please stop making these edits. Also try to pay attention to the structure of sentences. Regarding this edit: "Lieutenant General Sir George Prevost, Governor General of Canada and commander in chief in North America, was preparing". Please do not use styles that are nonstandard, unusual, inappropriate or difficult to understand in articles. There is a Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. Thank you.

DVdm - You appear to have reverted some of my edits that had nothing to do with style, but rather correct grammar. The proper use of "which" and "that" is not related to a style preference, in my opinion. Nor are proper subject-verb agreements. I would expect you to revert "A bus and a car was seen on the street", to "A car and a bus were seen on the street," for example. Have I misunderstood the purpose of your edits? There seems to be no formal warning template for bad grammar edits, so I took a mos-template. Buses and cars are not mentioned in the article Spacetime. The purpose of this edit was to undo unnecessary fixes and to repair grammatical mistakes that you made, probably caused by not understanding (or even reading) the sentences that you tried to fix. - DVdm (talk) 19:51, 21 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
