Hello OfficialHitesh. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:OfficialHitesh. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=OfficialHitesh|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. Theroadislong (talk) 15:35, 6 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Sir, I want to confirm that I am not writing for any paid promotion and that no one is paying for the article. I am an individual writer who is interested in tech blogging, mostly on mobile and tablet devices. I am the owner of the digitaldispatch.in Tech blog site, but I stopped working on the site because my writing is not as good as what normal people require, so I decided to improve my writing style and knowledge. Again, I am confirming that no one is paying for any article. Blogging is my hobby that I have to improve, and mobile technology is my blogging niche. Thats it.
Beleave me Oneplus never gives a single penny for anyone to write an article on Wikipedia, and they have no need for that. Also, you can check that I am not promoting for sales because I didn't mention any affiliate links to this article, and other references that I mention all have a good reputation for this mobile blog or news field. OfficialHitesh (talk) 16:06, 6 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
It's not a paid article, and no one is paying for any article that I write on Wikipedia. If this is the main reason, then I am confirming that it's not a paid article, and you can approve, and I'll post more articles in the future. But only about smartphones, tablets, or smartwatches, because this is my expertise. If I have any other issues with my article, you can suggest how I can improve it. OfficialHitesh (talk) 16:20, 6 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I think the issue is your style and tone is like you are writing a blog but Wikipedia is an encyclopedia so that is inappropriate here. A Wikipedia article simply summarizes what reliable sources have written about a topic, in a neutral, dry, factual manner. Our own opinions, observations, analysis, etc. do not matter. See WP:Writing better articles#Information style and tone. S0091 (talk) 17:15, 6 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
See also iPhone 5 which is a Good article, meaning it has passed an in-depth review to ensure it well-written and meets Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. You certainly do not need to write something that extensive but it should provide a good guide. S0091 (talk) 17:21, 6 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for your suggestion. OfficialHitesh (talk) 17:25, 6 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Yaah, I understand that our own opinions, observations, analyses, etc. do not matter. and article should be on topic in a neutral way, so I changed. Please review that last update and confirm that this is a perfect article for Wikipedia or not. OfficialHitesh (talk) 17:23, 6 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Large portions are unsourced and filled with technical jargon. Also note, technical specifications do not help establish notability as those come from the manufacturer. What you need are some additional in-depth reviews from reliable sources and summarize what they say. S0091 (talk) 17:29, 6 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Please review Oneplus 12R, which I changed recently, and also change my tone and describe only facts in a natural way that Wikipedia considers.

As you say, "large portions of this draft are unsourced; please add the necessary citations before resubmitting." So I added more sources from Wikipedia and some from reputable website sources in this article. OfficialHitesh (talk) 15:25, 7 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

OhNoitsJamie Talk 13:00, 8 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, can you please describe the inappropriate external links? I am new to Wikipedia, and I did very little work on it. 1st, I added the Oneplus 12R page, and 2nd, I added 2 new smartphones to the Asus page. That's it.
If you are talking about the Oneplus 12R, then please check. I am just following your message that "large portions of this draft are unsourced; please add necessary citations before resubmitting." So I added some sources from the most popular and authentic websites. like GSMArena, PhoneAren, PhoneTechies, Android Police, or the official website.
I am already confirming that I am not writing paid articles or promoting my own website, "Digital Dispatch."
So if you think that I added any inappropriate external links, then you just tell me that I will remove those links. I have no problem removing any external links because I just say I am not writing any paid articles.
Thanks OfficialHitesh (talk) 14:12, 8 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @MrOllie which site is spam? I see a lot of references to GSMArena.com but that is coming up as a "green lit" source for me. S0091 (talk) 17:17, 9 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
phonetechies.com (see warning in section above this one.) MrOllie (talk) 17:43, 9 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Somehow I overlooked the spam info. Doh! Thanks. S0091 (talk) 17:51, 9 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hi guys, Can you please explain to me that you both just talked and finished the meeting? You have to explain to me because you just cleaned up my whole time and work that I gave to Wikipedia.
I use 97% GSMArena Reference and 3% 91Mobile, Phone Techies, Kalvo.com, and more.
and you mention phonetechies.com, then I request that you please check once again and barely give 3 references. For those 3 references, you destroyed my 2 hours of work in 2 seconds. Is that right?
I am trying to add GSMArena most and add some others because I can't say anything about your team. Maybe one will allow, or one will say that. Hey, you're promoting GSMArena, so what should I do now that you ignore my work and time just for a 3% reference link? It's not like that. I have added only Phone Techies; I have also given other website references.
I am not promoting any specific website or my own website, "Digital Dispatch." I can only give the website references that I follow for my own knowledge.
I request that you please check my work again and tell me that I am promoting myself, my website, or any specific website. If I have given about 3 links to any other website in about 60+ website references and you call this a spam link, then I can't do much. Then I can say thank you to you for wasting my hard work and time on Wikipedia. OfficialHitesh (talk) 06:04, 10 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Do not make product lists on Wikipedia, and stop spamming external links. Switching to another account (as you have just done as User:DeeRajpurohit) is called sock puppetry and is specifically not allowed. You are on the path to getting blocked and getting your websites placed on Wikipedia's spam blacklist if you continue. MrOllie (talk) 13:17, 10 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
OfficialHitesh, @MrOllie is correct about having multiple accounts so stick to one account and do read the sock puppetry policy they linked above. Also, best to stick to the sources listed as reliable at WP:New page patrol source guide#Science and technology or at WP:RSP and be aware user reviews are not usable here as those fall under user-generated content, even if published by another source. If you have questions, you can ask at the Teahouse. S0091 (talk) 19:58, 10 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
