Speedy deletion nomination of Jeff Schilling

[edit]

Hello OsageCowboy,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Jeff Schilling for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. PureRED (talk) 16:55, 19 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image File:FireHost Company Logo.png

[edit]
⚠

Thanks for uploading File:FireHost Company Logo.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 02:30, 2 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Looks like the company changed its name and logo, so that's fine to delete.OsageCowboy (talk) 02:58, 2 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Jeff Schilling has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Promotional bio on an executive. Cites are mostly press releases or press release reprints, or occasions when he was quoted as a pundit - not independent third-party biographical coverage. Doesn't appear to meet any of the prongs of WP:NBIO or WP:GNG. A WP:BEFORE shows passing mentions, a bit of punditry and a lot of other people of the same name.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
