Andy Boy Simmonz
[edit]You reverted my edit on andy Boy and said he was in the first 1PW match. If you mean the proving ground battle royal then I cant find any evidence of this. Can you provide proof that he was there? darkie
Ignore me, I asked him myself. He was in the PG match so the 1PW guy who told me otherwise was a prat! It was however a one off until he was hired several months down the line. darkie
Hi

Vic Grimes
[edit]Messsage from JB196: Yes, I do know a decent amount about Vic, he is a friend of mine and I have over 100 results from his matches dating back to 1996. I'll add some info to his profile later this week.
Message from JB196: I added a move list for Vic. I'll work on a career summary in the next week.
Message from JB196: Well, in all fairness, while the edits are tracked, they're tracked all the way from the beginning so someone might have to go thru 3 pages of the Edit History to see who edited what. Also, on your profile page, you have a whole list of profiles you made, so like me, you do take credit for the stuff you do. Sure there is a subtle difference but in the end it shows that both of us in some way want it to be shown that work in question was ours. I made a references section; I hope that is more reasonable. If my name is not going to be included somewhere in that Grimes' profile then I don't want that movelist on there. Also added his senton variations as those are two of his main moves that have really made him who he is...to make space for them I took out some of the more common moves he uses.

Edit war on Bob Orton Jr. and Randy Orton
[edit]Can you please try and sort this out i have tried to tell User talk:DaffyDuck619 to add a citation that isn't from imdb because there has been many untrue things on that website on the ortons pages and to cite and interview or article which he will not do. I have a very strong knowledge of the ortons and contact with one of them so i know the information this user keeps adding isn't true. Also this user has a history of adding untrue things to the ortons pages as he keep adding that barry o's son wanted to be a wrestler saying that randy and bob said it in an interview (just like his now adding bob's other son wants to be) when that was untrue as barry doesnt have a son but the user still kept adding it for a little abit a while back. Please could you try to talk to him as his also insulted me in an edit summary which is not the first time he has done that to someone his also made false threats in edit summaries before saying he will block someone if they remove his information which he does not have the ability to do. Thank you for any help. Lil crazy thing 12:53, 2 June 2006 (UTC)
Wrestler measurements for UK
[edit]Hiya Paulley, what do you think aboot putting the imperial measurements first on UK wrestlers pages? What would you have first? I know the UK is officially a metric nation now, but metric is not what the country think in and most wouldn't have a clue how tall they are in cm. Plus from what user JFred says Canada is also a metric nation, yet they have imperial first for Canadian wrestlers. I am looking for consistency here. And would appreciate your thoughts. I asked McPhail for any British editors and he directed me here.(Halbared 07:48, 4 June 2006 (UTC))
I am going thru Wiki adding the metric for all wrestlers I find that don't have it. I just think it looks weird for UK wrestlers who get famous in the US to have metric first. In Canada, the US and the UK people know their wreslters in imperial. Unlike other nations, also metric is the official system of Canada, so I suppose I am looking for consistency. I have been uniforming all the heights and weights I come across. If Finlay is only known in the UK and the US (which he is now, he is an old wrestler from the world of sport days), then shouldn't his bio have Imperial first? This is the policy for Canada, who is in the same situation as us.(Halbared 07:43, 5 June 2006 (UTC))
Thanks for the response! I don't intend to wipe metric off the board, and I have spent quite some time adding metric to may wreslters bio's. I just think that the stats should reflect the practical situation of each nation, as well as non-uniformity and inconsistency looking sloppy, which is not what wiki is aboot;o).(Halbared 17:38, 5 June 2006 (UTC))

[edit]Could you please say something to this user, his just does not give it a rest on the nathan orton stuff, he still keeps adding it and i have told him time and time again unless he can state a source else other then imdb then dont add it i think thats pretty fair, but he doesnt listen to a single word and it's getting very annoying now. The fact i'm the one that gets the blame is unfair when other users have removed it aswell not just me because that ifnormation isn't need plus theres been so many untrue thigns added to the orton's pages on imdb that i tend to not believe anything from there unless cited else where. Others have agreed with me on this, the bob orton page has been locked because of him wanting the nathan bit it in and he did like it when someone else told him. People can you do something. On WWE Fantasy
[edit]Heya, just to say something in my defense. I am of the opinion that the Finishing moves list the folks on WWE.com maintain is probably one of the most credible sources out there, other then the wrestlers themselves.

Just a query
[edit]Can you make heads or tails of this Professional wrestling holds#Reverse cloverleaf? The writing is just awful and i'm not sure how to fix the move because I can't find a coherent definition anywhere and the current description gives me no idea. --- Lid 11:30, 9 July 2006 (UTC)
- I initially thought it was fake too, but it's listed as the finisher of Puma so I have no idea. --- Lid 14:05, 9 July 2006 (UTC)
- I found this video on a website next to Puma labelled Kansas City Missouri Cloverleaf, which is probably the same move as the Figure Four Deathlock only renamed http://www.wrestlingencyclopedia.com/Moves3/KansasCityMissouriCloverleaf.wmv --- Lid 14:40, 9 July 2006 (UTC)
- Figured out the modificiation: rather than locking both legs under his arm he locks one leg behind his knee and the other under his arm forming a figure four. Watching in frames it seems he crosses one leg over the opponents other leg and then locks it behind his knee before turning the opponent over. --- Lid 14:46, 9 July 2006 (UTC)
- Edit: over, not under, it becomes under when it gets turned over. --- Lid 14:48, 9 July 2006 (UTC)

RQW Article
[edit]I am disgraced with what I have seen many people like me and others work very hard on making the RQW Article really good but all you do is delete it. Why should there be a bloody 'edit page' button at the top of each article when all you do is delete every bit of information that I put down. I am furious and so is the RQW forum and Len Davies (Co-Owner) for what you do. I want to partcipate and make the RQW artcile look good but I can't when you delete everything I put down. Its news and thats what people need to know what is happening around RQW but not many people know stuff like this because you delete it all. I am not given you any information with what has happened with Erin Angel and Phil Powers. All I want you to do is rather than deleting all the information I put down just change it because I work on this article at least 2 and a half hours a day making it look good. So stuff you and plaease don't delete everything people put down. User_talk:Samgibbs.

Fair use rationale for Image:SheamusO'Shaunessy2ndAugust.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:SheamusO'Shaunessy2ndAugust.jpg. The image description page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Help with a article
[edit]Hi Paulley, Sorry if I have been lary. I really am sorry but I have been needing your help for this artcile I have done. They say they arw going to delete it. It is a article on a female british wrestler Skye. The article name is Skye (Wrestler). I would appreciate your help. Sam Gibbs
Signature moves
[edit]Well if you check your facts you will see that I did not delete any signature moves of Booker's all I did was simply put up the sunset flip from the corner as one of his finisher moves as he has done on many occasions. Now onto Batista, maybe he did use the strong clothesline at one point on RAW but he hasn't used it since his days as a Smackdown superstar, but I will not delete that one considering that he did do it, but when it comes to Jackhammer suplexes and full nelson slams--that is ridiculous. Batista doesnt use those moves, and once at Summerslam does not count! I will not delete the strong clothesline, but all the other rubbish needs to go. Thanks for your cooperation. --Fr3nZi3 22:56, 30 August 2006 (UTC)
Yeah that is fine! It happens to the best of us! Once I accused someone of major vandalism and I got the wrong person. haha! But yeah, the generic moves needs to go, also from what I have seen of Batista so far he has not been using Jackhammer suplex and stuff, but hey Batista isn't dead, and neither has he retired--he is still wrestling and we can always add more signature moves as he establishes them. --Fr3nZi3 15:34, 31 August 2006 (UTC)

Len Davies
[edit]Hi Paulley Can you see if this article is ok, if not can you make it better. I have put loads of work into it. As there is already a article named Len Davies I added something. You have to type Len Davies (RQW Owner) into the serach engine and it will come up. If you can change the title of that to something different then please do so. The artcile is really good so please can you help me to keep it. Thanks Sam!
There is an argument over where to list Split-legged moonsault and I could use your aid. RVD used the split-legged moonsault as his finisher as Robbie V, in early ECW and during his time in the WWF during the mid 90s in the ECW invasion. The debate is should it be listed as a finisher, as it once was, or a signature move, as it now is? --- Lid 05:04, 3 September 2006 (UTC)
I just can't get through to user JB196. He continues to revert the article, reducing its quality claiming that he is not credited as "The Author" in the article itself. The issue is being brought up here [2] help would be greatly appreciated. -- bulletproof 3:16 03:11, 5 September 2006 (UTC)
Special K
[edit]Hey, I added some stuff to the Special K page. I'm not sure about the K Drop. I looked through the championships, and I'm not sure if they were known as Special K outside of ROH, so I kept ROH tag team championship and left the rest in hidden text in case you wanted to repost them. Also it seems like most of the reigns took place before Special K existed. Jonathan Burgess 07:34, 9 September 2006 (UTC)
Help with User:Fr3nZi3
[edit]If you check the history of facebuster here you will see I am in a dispute with frenzie over listing Melina as she's not a populariser or innovater, she's just the most current user. When he rephrased that to high impact I removed it citing Homicide not being listed at Vertebreaker to which he replied with this. Can you help me to get him to understand? –– Lid(Talk) 00:49, 13 September 2006 (UTC)
- i have noticed those edits but there isnt much we can do... except revert and try to get him to understand that adding notable users isnt a viable practice in these articles... thats why they were removed in the first place ---- Paulley 18:00, 13 September 2006 (UTC)
Fair enough, but isn't someone who is a populariser a matter of opinion?? In my opinion, Melina is the most current user of the move, and she has popularized it, although it was used many years ago--but if you are to think of any wrestler who uses the spinning facebuster--Melina come to mind first. But considering that both of you have expressed your displeasure at me adding the move, I will not add it again. I hope we have come to a consensus. --Fr3nZi3 17:43, 16 September 2006 (UTC)
Yes Melina is a popularizer. Well if you havent noticed I am a huge Melina fan! And I watch all of her matches. She used this move a lot in OVW to finish matches and in the WWE she has used this move three times. Once on Christy Hemme on Smackdown to defeat her, twice on Trish Stratus (Survivor Series 2005 and Saturday Nights Main Event) and once on Jillian Hall (Judgment Day 2006)--when she hits it and the person kicks out after two, you usually hear her have a high pitched scream to show her frustration that the person kicked out of her move. So yeah she is a popularizer in my eyes, plus she is the only current user . And to be honest being a popularizer is a matter of opinion, but I am not going to go against the consensus, which distrupt the flow we have here on WP:PW! By the way I think she will be an excellent WWE Women's Champion! --Fr3nZi3 00:25, 18 September 2006 (UTC)

Ok, I am really starting to loose my temper. Yesterday I tried to add the extended format of the championships and accomplishments to the John Cena article and I was reverted by Jtalledo stating that the format was to clunky and it was predetermined at WP:PW as consensus. Now, I change to correct the format on the Konnan article and I am reverted by you. Either you two make up your minds about which format you guys like, or I am not going to be as cool about next time. — Moe Epsilon 21:16 September 22 '06
- Could discuss this with Jtalledo then? Because when I add this format, he reverts. And likewise when I take away the format, you revert. Its all very confusing :( — Moe Epsilon 21:29 September 22 '06
I tried to answer all your questions at WP:PW the best I could. Hopefully I did. :) — Moe Epsilon 21:06 October 02 '06
- In response to the italics in the headings, I thought they looked nice. I can't say right now if we should implement it as a format, but maybe a future consensus reaching tally could be done so we can decide. :) — Moe Epsilon 01:47 October 04 '06

Image:Double superkick.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Double superkick.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the image description page and edit it to add {{Replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template.
- On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject or by taking a picture of it yourself.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that any fair use images which are replaceable by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion.
