Welcome[edit]

Welcome!

Hello, Petey Parrot, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions, especially what you did for Wernher von Braun. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on discussion pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{help me}} before the question. Again, welcome! Attack pages[edit]

Please do not create attack pages as you did at Lee Munson. Attack pages and files are not tolerated by Wikipedia and are speedily deleted. Users who continue to create or repost such pages and images, especially those in violation of our biographies of living persons policy, will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Thank you. --Jezebel'sPonyobons mots 19:42, 10 March 2011 (UTC)

Carla Bruni[edit]

Hard to believe you thought this was an appropriate edit. Whether you were being serious or making a joke you're clearly very bad at this and should stop editing.96.236.148.103 (talk) 04:49, 20 March 2011 (UTC)

March 2011[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. We welcome and appreciate your contributions, including your edits to 2011 Libyan uprising, but we cannot accept original research. Original research also encompasses novel, unpublished syntheses of previously published material. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your information. Thank you.--Hon-3s-T (talk) 02:03, 22 March 2011 (UTC)

That's fine. Only making responsive edits, like defending property, assets, and related. Have a good day. Stay alive. :)

June 2011[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Arab Spring. Users are expected to collaborate with others and avoid editing disruptively.

In particular, the three-revert rule states that:

  1. Making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period is almost always grounds for an immediate block.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you continue to edit war, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Please keep OR, such as the definition you put of a masscre and your own POV out of the article. Please also go to Talk:Arab_Spring#Golan_Heights_Uprising.3F, where your edits are being discussed as well as your own POV. Sir William Matthew Flinders Petrie | Say Shalom! 00:11, 8 June 2011 (UTC)

Discussion notification[edit]

Hi, please see Talk:Israel_–_United_States_relations#CNN_polls_2011. Thanks, unmi 02:01, 8 June 2011 (UTC)

Please do not attack other editors, as you did at Talk:Arab Spring. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. . If you make any more comments like this relating to an editor's religion you are likely to be blocked. Religious bigotry expressed either in attacks on editors or in edits to articles is not something that should be tolerated. Dougweller (talk) 06:24, 8 June 2011 (UTC)

This is your last warning. You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize a page, as you did with this edit to Talk:Comcast. SeaphotoTalk 07:51, 8 June 2011 (UTC)

Vandalism? All that was posted was the customer service number to Comcast: 1800-CIA-3000[1] with a link as well to a video of their technicians breaking and entering.[2] Great logo, too. Is that two C's we see? Don't worry, some have their number.

You could also click on the signature button Insert-signature.png located above the edit window. This is your last warning; the next time you make personal attacks on other people, as you did at Talk:2011 Libyan civil war, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Comment on content, not on other contributors or people. I see you ignored my earlier warning. Given that and other problems with your editing, I am giving you a final warning. Please take this seriously. Dougweller (talk) 11:03, 9 June 2011 (UTC)

I strongly advise you to listen to Dougweller. You really don't want to continue down this path, please.... - Philippe 11:05, 9 June 2011 (UTC)
One surmises it is more an issue of sensitivity. Is it a pressing issue as allegations grow wilder, like as pressing as an impotent with a viagra to sway opinion before the wife votes?

WASP-17b[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content, as you did to the article WASP-17b, please cite a reliable source for the content of your edit. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. See Wikipedia:Citing sources for how to cite sources, and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. -- Donald Albury 10:02, 10 June 2011 (UTC)

Edit to 2011 Libyan civil war timeline[edit]

I'm going to ignore all the negative feedback you have on your user page discussion for now.

While I thank you for your contribution to the timeline, it is best to represent both sides of an issue, whenever possible. Your post was entirely pro-Gaddafi and I have edited it accordingly to represent both sides of the issue, as this content was available in your sources. Also, try to be a bit more concise in timeline postings as it is a lengthy article to begin with. Lastly, please use the {{cite news}} tag when citing sources from news media. I have fixed those accordingly too, so you can go look at the code if you are unsure.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact me on my user page. Daniel Musto (talk) 20:46, 10 June 2011 (UTC)

Pro-history. No room for bias. Concur.
Petey Parrot (talk) 21:38, 10 June 2011 (UTC)
This timeline is updated with information from valid sources. I'm sorry if you don't like what the news has to say, but you cannot delete them arbitrarily. If you think something needs to be removed, please start a discussion on the article's Talk page first to avoid getting targeted as a vandal. Daniel Musto (talk) 01:42, 11 June 2011 (UTC)
Valid sources absolutely. So dedicated to validity only some are worthy of recognition.

The article Those who live in glass houses should not throw stones has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Proverbs like this belong in wikidictonary.

Noted. Is this like the embarrassment unfolding for the West in areas of the world which should have been speedily wrapped up months ago?

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, we would like to remind you not to attack other editors, as you did on [1]. Please comment on the contributions and not the contributors. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. You are welcome to rephrase your comment as a civil criticism of the article. Thank you. WegianWarrior (talk) 14:26, 17 June 2011 (UTC)

LOL the Free Masons. The world is flat and the universe revolves around Israel. Imagine what planets could have been colonized by now if the world didn't have to stop everytime to ensure their rectal intimacy. The West deserves their punishment called collapse.

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 24 hours for You were warned about personal attacks and since another editor has removed your comment at Talk:Freemasonry as a personal attack, I am blocking you - final warnings shouldn't be ignored..
