Hello, WestWindsGin, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I noticed that one of the first articles you edited appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. One rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)

In addition, if you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for any contribution you make, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation to comply with our terms of use and our policy on paid editing.

Request reason:

I'm a new user and not a Wiki-native, so didn't realise I wasn't following correct protocols i.e. I named my username after the business name so clearly no attempt to conceal/coerce/decieve. My intent has only ever been to develop a page based on fact - see links - and not as a 'sock-puppet'! I have followed the precedent outline for Archie Rose Distilling Co on Wiki and have included objective/neutral/factual information only. I declare that I am a contractor to The West Winds Gin, and as such understand that this is a paid contribution which I will update according to Paid-contribution disclosure guidelines once unblocked. I will also continue to check with Editors to ensure all citations and links are acceptable with the terms of the site. Many thanks for your help

The reason why you were called a sockpuppet is because you used the account RhinoBo after you were blocked on this account. Doing so is against Wikipedia policy as it is block evasion and sockpuppetry. To remain within policy, you must not edit using the account RhinoBo until any block on this account is removed. Furthermore I strongly advise to just never edit using RhinoBo again as it using multiple accounts even while not blocked can be against policy as it can be seen as disruptive. Hi Wiki Admins - I've read all of the policies and fully understand where I went wrong. I have acknowledged my COI at the top of my Talk Page as per guidelines, so hoping I can get unblocked to be able to re-submit the article to independent/non-related editors who could help verify the details on The West Winds page.
