April 2010[edit]

Information.svg Thank you for your contributions. Please remember to mark your edits as "minor" only if they truly are minor edits. In accordance with Help:Minor edit, a minor edit is one that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute. Minor edits consist of things such as typographical corrections, formatting changes, or rearrangement of text without modification of content. Additionally, the reversion of clear-cut vandalism and test edits may be labeled "minor". Thank you. Nymf hideliho! 21:51, 13 April 2010 (UTC)

Also, your edit summaries doesn't match the actual changes in the articles. For example, this is hardly fixing a misspelled word. Nymf hideliho! 21:57, 13 April 2010 (UTC)

Information.svg Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from Everyone Says I Love You. When removing text, please specify a reason in the edit summary and discuss edits that are likely to be controversial on the article's talk page. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the text has been restored, as you can see from the page history. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. I do not call such a wholesale removal of text a "fix." You have already been advised about making your edit summaries truthful, now I am telling you again. RepublicanJacobiteThe'FortyFive' 00:06, 14 April 2010 (UTC)

Information.svg Please do not delete content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Harvey Keitel, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Thank you. RepublicanJacobiteThe'FortyFive' 00:09, 14 April 2010 (UTC)

Nuvola apps important.svg Please do not add unsourced or original content, as you did to List of Jewish actors. Doing so violates Wikipedia's verifiability policy. If you continue to do so, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. RepublicanJacobiteThe'FortyFive' 00:22, 14 April 2010 (UTC)

Information.svg Constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, but a recent edit of yours has an edit summary that appears to be inaccurate or inappropriate. Please use edit summaries that accurately tell other editors what you did, and feel free to use the sandbox for any tests you may want to do. Thank you. Jayjg (talk) 01:20, 14 April 2010 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Sining Mouse[edit]

Ambox warning yellow.svg

The article Sining Mouse has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

This is either a wholly non-notable band, or a hoax. A Google search turns up nothing, most of the article is redlinked, and the few blue links are to obviously wrong targets. Even the band's website appears to be defunct.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Speedy deletion nomination of Sining Mouse[edit]

Ambox warning pn.svg

Please refrain from introducing inappropriate pages, such as Sining Mouse, to Wikipedia. Doing so is not in accordance with our policies. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Adding category "Jewish films"[edit]

I've just reverted several of your edits adding certain films to the category "Jewish films". I can't really tell why you're adding them other than the films are by Jews (Woody Allen) or broadly about them (Gentleman's Agreement). I'll concede that the category is a little vague to begin with but I do think that general release films need to be a little more closely tied to distinctly Jewish themes than those that you added. At the very least you should be explaining your decisions in your edit summaries or on the article talk pages. Thanks. JohnInDC (talk) 15:26, 29 October 2010 (UTC)

Sining Mouse article[edit]

Earlier this year you created the article Sining Mouse. It purported to be about a band called "Signing Mouse", formed in 2004, whose website was at www.withthesingingmouse.com (a website that does not exist). Its members included Ettore Ovazza, a Turin native who died in 1943, and BF Powers, who it was alleged, "died after a slipping and falling in the shower on a bar of soap there was no funeral". Can you explain why you created this article, which has now been deleted as a hoax? Jayjg (talk) 05:02, 29 October 2010 (UTC)

Please respond here; if you won't, I will block you to get your attention. Jayjg (talk) 00:42, 31 October 2010 (UTC)

Robotpotato, your talk page is a long list of concerns raised, and you have yet to respond to even one. You were warned you would be blocked if you didn't respond to the latest concerns, about the hoax article you created. Please respond here. Jayjg (talk) 23:42, 6 November 2010 (UTC)
Jayjg ]] I am quite sorry about Sining Mouse it was created for a community college project that was assigned to a small class that I was a student in. And one of the projects was to create a fake article on a web site, so I created that article I was against the project by I did honestly have fun making it it was a hoax, my only hoax.
And why do you keep adding various unsourced, poorly sourced, or disputed material to articles, continually misuse of the "minor edit" tag, and never respond to any of the comments about it on your Talk: page? Your Talk: page is full of concerns other editors have raised, and this is the first time you've responded. In fact, you've made over 700 edits, yet only one edit to an article talk page, and one edit to a user talk page, this one. Jayjg (talk) 05:37, 7 November 2010 (UTC)
