Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia

The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome!

Hello Sahyogster,

It seems to me that an article you worked on, Talent Flush, may be copied from http://www.linkedin.com/groups/Talent-Flush-4463181. It's entirely possible that I made a mistake, but I wanted to let you know because Wikipedia is strict about copying from other sites.

It's important that you edit the article and rewrite it in your own words, unless you're absolutely certain nothing in it is copied. If you're not sure how to fix the problem or have any questions, there are people at the help desk who are happy to assist you.

Thank you for helping build a free encyclopedia! CorenSearchBot (talk) 22:19, 28 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Talent Flush requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. DoriTalkContribs 22:39, 28 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Flushed away

[edit]

(Sorry, couldn't resist...) You can't delete articles, so I have (only admins have the 'delete' button). The reason was twofold - there was no indication of notability, and the wording was promotional. We want things here to be neutral as befits an encyclopaedia. Your wording would be fine in a profile or a brochure, but not here. Please see WP:GROUP about the notability problem, and WP:RS about the reliable independent sources you need to prove it. Also, please look at WP:NPOV, our policy about neutral point of view. Good luck with the venture, anyway. Peridon (talk) 00:07, 29 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
