Your contributed article, Eren niazi

[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, Eren niazi. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – Eren Niazi. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Eren Niazi – you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.

If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. Mercurywoodrose (talk) 06:11, 9 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi ... just to clarify, did you create the article in question for pay? And if so, is your deletion as a result of the payor not having paid you? --Epeefleche (talk) 03:05, 16 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Also, you say you created the page in question -- did you do so under the other user name reflected here? --Epeefleche (talk) 03:14, 16 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Did I stutter? No. I did not create an account for pay but I did figure out that I was trick dingo creating a positive account for someone who is not noteworthy enough (without paid articles) to have a page. If he does have a page then there are a number of negative links that need to be included: http://www.boe.ca.gov/meetings/pdf/hearingsummaries/C_Niazi_Eren_482301_sum_011513.pdf

My sense after talking with his uncle is that its best if Mr. Niazi simply does not have a page.

I'm confused. I didn't ask whether you created "an account" for pay. But rather whether you are creating articles for pay. Are you creating wikipedia articles for pay?
Also, you asserted that you created the Eren Niazi page. But that page was created under a different username. Are you using more than one username? Epeefleche (talk) 19:39, 16 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Eren Niazi

[edit]

In regards to this edit, blanking pages is not how we delete things on wikipedia. If a page is blanked then a reader navigating to that page will see an entry with no content, not the absence of an entry.

I can't delete it unilaterally for a variety of reasons (namely that sourcing exists, however sparse, on the subject). Your allegations that Niazi paid for favorable coverage may be true (or not, I don't know) but I certainly can't delete the page on your say-so. If you want to nominate the page for deletion you may do so via articles for deletion. If you need help understanding how articles for deletion works or want to write a nomination and have me do the busywork of actually filing it, let me know either here or on my talk page.

Alternately, if you feel the subject is represented with only positive coverage you may edit the article to balance out the coverage (provided you note our policy on articles about living persons). Protonk (talk) 23:03, 16 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I've already explained above that you blanking article pages is not how we delete pages. If you want the page to be deleted you may nominate it for deletion where you can explain your reasoning. If you continue to blank the page without engaging in discussion I will block this account. Protonk (talk) 18:58, 17 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Stephan Pair

[edit]

The article Stephan Pair has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Subject fails WP:GNG and WP:BIO. References are about the business, not the subject of the article. Article has a promotional tone to it. Please add content backed by in depth coverage from multiple reliable sources or this article may be deleted.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. A tag has been placed on Fonte Coffee, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay.
