Wow, you must get a lot of confrontational people to be that cautious of getting in a fight. Well, I'm not interested in a fight either, so I guess we're on the same side.

Anyway, the only reason I changed it back was because I thought it looked better in the original. The image was clearer (sharper, no scanlines) and the colors looked better. Honestly, I've never played the original version on a TV, so I'm not sure if the colors and aspect ratio of your version are more accurate, but I'll take your word. I was unaware of the discussion you mentioned, and that makes sense, but this particular image is not an illustration of the game itself, but an illustration of the code's effects. It should be as clear as possible to illustrate the effects. Of course, there is the issue of consistency, that all of the screenshots from the games should "match" in that respect. If you want to change it back to your version, I'll stay with it, but in the future, it wouldn't be a bad idea to include a more detailed reason when you do something that appears to downgrade the quality of the image. -Platypus Man | Talk 06:26, 5 June 2007 (UTC)

I have recently decided to improve the article on Rockville, Maryland. The article itself is in need of major copyediting and referencing, particuarly in the history section. I noticed that you were one of the first editors of the history section, and I was wondering were you found all of that info about the history of Rockville. The material you have provided is good, though it needs some verification.

Notification: changes to "Mark my edits as minor by default" preference

Hello there. This is an automated message to tell you about the gradual phasing out of the preference entitled "Mark all edits minor by default", which you currently have (or very recently had) enabled.

On 13 March 2011, this preference was hidden from the user preferences screen as part of efforts to prevent its accidental misuse (consensus discussion, guidelines for use at WP:MINOR). This had the effect of locking users in to their existing preference, which, in your case, was true. To complete the process, your preference will automatically be changed to false in the next few days. This does not require any intervention on your part and all users will still be able to manually mark their edits as being minor in the usual way.

For well-established users such as yourself there is a workaround available involving custom JavaScript. If you have any problems, feel free to drop me a note.
