[edit]Hello, I'm DVdm. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Relativistic rocket, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. DVdm (talk) 12:57, 10 March 2024 (UTC)
Note: nice, but we need sources for this, and this is clearly way beyond wp:CALC. - DVdm (talk) 12:59, 10 March 2024 (UTC)
- Hi!
- Basically I took the formulae and told Mathematica to do a series expansion. Nothing more and nothing else. Taylor and Laurent series expansions are taught, for example, in any Maths or Physics major.
- Not quite sure how it would be added as a citation or as a source. Once again I only took the formulae *that were already there* and said "look, this can be written as an infinite series where the first terms are these". Sefardim1492 (talk) 13:36, 10 March 2024 (UTC)
- Yes, I checked the expansions with Maple , but these are not proper sources for Wikipedia. The idea of sources is not only to demonstrate verifiability, but also, and at least just as importantly, notability. We can create tonnes of interesting wp:original research in an extremely reliable way, but for an encyclopedia it must have been done already in the literature. - DVdm (talk) 16:33, 10 March 2024 (UTC)
