February 2017[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm BilCat. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Georgia (U.S. state) without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. BilCat (talk) 03:17, 10 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@BilCat: He did explain it in an edit summary, and he was right. The source that was given shows clearly that Florida and Michigan, both of which are east of the Mississippi, are larger in area than Georgia. I will restore Seth.Pinson's edit. Largoplazo (talk) 10:32, 10 February 2017 (UTC) I'm sorry, never mind. I missed the detail about land area. Largoplazo (talk) 10:34, 10 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
It's a common issue in the article. Perhaps it needs to be moved further down into the geography section, as it's really a minor point for the lead, especially since it causes confusion. - BilCat (talk) 10:46, 10 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
