WP:ENGVAR
[edit]Please do not change the style of spelling in articles, and do not change the style used to display dates. Long ago there were many battles over this kind of thing and the community strongly endorses WP:ENGVAR to avoid pointless edit wars. For example, at Night of the Murdered Poets there would need to be a very good reason to change "traveled" to "travelled" or "May 8, 1952" to "8 May 1952". The very good reason would need to be explained in the edit summary, and such edits are definitely not WP:MINOR. Sorry to be grumpy but understanding the principle of WP:ENGVAR is important. Happy editing! Johnuniq (talk) 03:51, 16 April 2019 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm Nkon21. I noticed that in this edit to Shinzo Abe, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. ɴᴋᴏɴ21 ❯❯❯ talk 20:39, 11 January 2021 (UTC)
