File source problem with File:Rhea .jpg[edit]

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Rhea .jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 23:03, 8 August 2009 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Lәo(βǃʘʘɱ) 23:03, 8 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Rhea (singer) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Porturology (talk) 23:08, 8 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop removing speedy deletion notices from pages that you have created yourself. If you continue, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Porturology (talk) 23:12, 8 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits.
The next time you remove a speedy deletion notice from a page you have created yourself, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. 99.149.84.135 (talk) 23:16, 8 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Rhea (singer) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for musical topics.

Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Orphaned non-free image (File:Keyshia Cole - Playa Cardz Right1.jpg)[edit]

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Keyshia Cole - Playa Cardz Right1.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. — Σxplicit 23:36, 8 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

"Playa Cardz Right"[edit]

Please do not add the file File:Keyshia Cole - Playa Cardz Right1.jpg to Playa Cardz Right, this is not the correct cover. It is misleading to add this image as readers will assume by the cover that the single version of the song does not contain the rap verses by Tupac, which it does. If you have any comments or questions, feel free ask me here on your talk page. Please do not engage in an edit war. Thank you. — Σxplicit 23:36, 8 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

File copyright problem with File:Aaliyah at Essence Awards.jpg[edit]

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading File:Aaliyah at Essence Awards.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. — ξxplicit 06:52, 7 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

ANI notice[edit]

Hello, Sincereofficial. This message is being sent to inform you that there currently is a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Thank you. — ξxplicit 22:52, 7 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I would recommend that you stop editing the Aaliyah page until you've got a better grip of Wikipedia policies. For example, God is not a musician. Please take this seriously, as you've been warned enough and blocked; further disruption will result in a permanent block. File source problem with File:MonicaStillStandingTVShow.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:MonicaStillStandingTVShow.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of that website's terms of use of its content. However, if the copyright holder is a party unaffiliated from the website's publisher, that copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider verifying that you have specified sources for those files as well. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged per Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion, F4. If the image is copyrighted and non-free, the image will be deleted 48 hours after 00:08, 12 January 2010 (UTC) per speedy deletion criterion F7. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ww2censor (talk) 00:08, 12 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for File:MonicaStillStandingTVShow.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:MonicaStillStandingTVShow.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ww2censor (talk) 00:08, 12 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Wait Your Turn[edit]

Hello,
"Wait Your Turn" has *not* been released as a single. Do you have a reliable source saying differently?

Image uploads[edit]

Hello,
you need to be more careful with your image uploads. By default, no image you just find somewhere on the Internet may be uploaded here. Only a very small subset, those that explicitly were released under a compatible free licenses (e.g. CC-BY-SA) or into the public domain by the copyright holder can possibly be used here on Wikipedia, and in addition a very few other images that comply with Wikipedia's non-free content criteria (some album covers, practically never images to illustrate living persons). Thus far, all but the single cover uploads (for which a valid fair use claim can be made) had to be deleted. Please be more careful, this can get both you and Wikipedia into trouble, and is creating work for other editors. If you are unsure about an image, please ask (either me or at the media copyright questions noticeboard).

Non-free images of living people[edit]

Please stop uploading non-free images of living people. Please take a look at our non-free content criteria policy, as it states non-free content is used only where no free equivalent is available, or could be created, that would serve the same encyclopedic purpose.
