Artem, I'm going to fail GA:russian language. Points 3 and 4 are essential (I'll be burned if I pass it without 3) and it is very difficult for me to fix point 3. I suspected its not your field and was surprised by your thorough and honest attempts to cope with the comments. Good try. Best wishes.NIMSoffice (talk) 22:57, 19 May 2009 (UTC)
Rollback
Per your accepted request, I have added rollback rights to your account. Ensure you only use rollback correctly, ie its intended usage of reverting vandalism only. For information on rollback see: Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback and Wikipedia:Rollback feature. If you do not want rollback in the future, just let me or any admin know. Cheers. - OK. I have already looked through rollback guidelines. Thanks for help :) SkyBonTalk\Contributions 10:19, 16 May 2009 (UTC)
Global Radio
Yep, I blanked that section for four valid reasons:
- 1. It was poorly cited - only 1 citation, and directed at a rather dubious looking site.
- 2. It wasn't even a criticism of Global - only LBC, one of the radio stations they happen to own. The criticism WASNT directed at Global
- 3. It had nothing to do with the rest of the article and it stuck out like a sore thumb
- 4. The tone seemed to be written with a point to prove.
I'm afraid to say, I think that you are in the wrong here 81.132.254.98 (talk) 17:09, 21 May 2009 (UTC)
Excuse me, but when Iooked at 81.132.254.98's talk page, it seems that you have given him a level three warning. I believe that this is not appropriate as you should have given him a level one warning but I'm asking you why you gave him a level three warning. Please reply on my talk page. American Units
There is a long-established convention here that both American and metric units should be used, and that those articles overwhelmingly likely to be read by Americans should use the units most intelligible to them.
There is also a long-established tradition that such matters should be left alone, as too unimportant to edit war over.

GAN Moscow
Artem, predlozhenie takoe, otzovi sam GAN Moscow (prosto udali ee s WP:GAN), poskoree, i v budushem takoe ne delai. Eto poka prosto zamechanie, bez obid i uprekov. Nominator dolzhen vnesti zametnyi vklad v stat'yu. Perehvat stat'i u ee glavnogo "redaktora" eto nepravil'no. Redaktor ne soglasen s etoi nominatsiei, t.e. GAN neetichna i skoree vsego provalitsya. Pomni chto vse dokumentiruetsya, t.e. igrat' v WP nado predel'no chestno. Materialscientist (talk) 22:45, 24 May 2009 (UTC)(NIMSoffice)
- OK, OK, я отзову номинацию, однако, конечно, хотелось бы увидеть развёрнутую рецензию, чтобы я мог улучшить статью. К счастью, это General Knowledge статья и я, не будучи большим специалистом, могу внести в неё улучшения. SkyBonTalk\Contributions 15:29, 25 May 2009 (UTC)

Ya gotov retsenzirovat' ee v budushem, no tol'ko esli GAN soglasovana s redaktorami (tipa user:texmon). Redirect
Hi Skybon, it seems that you have redirected my old userpage "Wireless Keyboard" to my new userpage. However, I "undid" this because I switched usernames because someone compromised my identity. I had a bureaucrat to delete all old pages and subpages. Please do not redirect any of my old pages to my new ones again. Thanks. Class I Laser ZAP! Boom! 12:07, 27 May 2009 (UTC)
- OK. Sorry for breaking into your user page. I just thought that smth like you didn't like your old username so you asked to rename it. Don't forget to delete redirect at talk. SkyBonTalk\Contributions 14:20, 27 May 2009 (UTC)
User levels
Hi SkyBon,
I am a new user on Wikipedia. I was wondering what is the criteria to have rollback rights and to be different levels of editors. Please feel free to add new things and edit my user and talk pages since I am new I'm not very used to how to do this.THanks
WaveRunner85 (talk) 16:30, 27 May 2009 (UTC)
- There are different permissions in en-wiki. From the lowest to the highest: anonymous, new user, autoconfirmed (+rollbacker), administrator, bureaucrat, steward. About all of these ranks feel free to read corresponding articles in Wikipedia space e.g. Wikipedia:Administrators. SkyBonTalk\Contributions 14:52, 30 May 2009 (UTC)
- The only rollback criteria is experience. Prove yourself and surrounding people that you are aware of basic WP policies and gouidelines and go to WP:RFR then.
- In case you have any questions contact me asap. :) SkyBonTalk\Contributions 14:52, 30 May 2009 (UTC)
RollBack Rights
Hi! I have checked My Preferences and I have 80 edits. I have been on Wikipedia for two weeks. I was wondering if you could grant me rollback rights? Reply Soon. Thanks!

- Only admins and higher can grant Rollback Rights to users. Go to WP:Requests for permissions/Rollback and ask admins to grant that status to you. SkyBonTalk\Contributions 06:06, 30 May 2009 (UTC)
Hi, it seems there are quite a few parameters that are not now supported when you converted this banner. Can you check it out? — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 20:32, 1 June 2009 (UTC)

I'm concerned that you're going about these banner conversions in a haphazard way. It is not normally appropriate to add or remove features from a banner without asking the WikiProject about the matter. I would suggest making changes in a sandbox and then posting a message on the talk page to ask for feedback. Regards, — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 12:15, 3 June 2009 (UTC)

re United States protection
Every single time that article is unprotected, it is flooded with vandalism within hours. I caught the last one within 40 minutes; the vandals aren't watching it as keenly as I am. I assure you that within 24 hours of it being unprotected, you will see dozens of IP edits, most of them vandalism. You might be able to find someone else to carry out this charming experiment but I'm certainly not going to do it. --Golbez (talk) 17:04, 15 June 2009 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of of Dooble
A tag has been placed on Dooble, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:
Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}}
on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. WLU (t) (c) Wikipedia's rules:simple/complex 10:37, 28 July 2009 (UTC)

MAKS 2009
Hello SkyBon!
I want to state one question to you: From August 19th until August 23rd the MAKS Airshow takes place again in Zhukovsky, near Moscow. Do you have the time to go there in order to take a lot of photos? Would be unique contribution for Wikimedia. I hope your response is positive. Greets, High Contrast (talk) 18:13, 1 August 2009 (UTC)
- Well, I'm sorry but it looks like I won't be able to go there because of expensive tickets. Although I won't go to MAKS that would be great if you could bring my attention to another event or site where it would be great to take some shoots. Anyway thanks for your request. ;) SkyBonTalk/Contributions 13:38, 2 August 2009 (UTC)
Messed-up svg files
Hi, SkyBon. I'm just letting you know that the "code cleanup" you performed on [1] and [2] (perhaps more?) has left them buggy, whereas the previous versions seem fine. Paperxcrip (talk) 05:10, 17 August 2009 (UTC)
- Well, at least they do what they are meant to do: illustrate articles. I removed as much as possible from images, even the XML declaration in order to make these images as light as possible. MediaWiki renderer fortunately is able to identify and render SVG images without XML declaration. SkyBonTalk/Contributions 13:00, 17 August 2009 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free image (File:GNU General Public License 3 Logo.svg)
Thanks for uploading File:GNU General Public License 3 Logo.svg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. FileBot (talk) 21:09, 21 August 2009 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Prostornaya Street
The article Prostornaya Street has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Highways meet notability guidelines, but city streets seldom do. No sources or assertion of notability.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}}
will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Durova311 21:34, 5 September 2009 (UTC)
Editing URLs
Removing www from the front of URLs often renders them non functional; the webservers not infrequently require this, and even if it works, the page often redirects you back to the www version.
I'm pretty sure there's no wiki policy or guideline that requires this to be removed; or if there is, there soon won't be. Please do not do this.- (User) Wolfkeeper (Talk) 15:52, 7 September 2009 (UTC)
RationalPlan page
Hi there,
Noticed your proposal for deleting RationalPlan page ("Not notable enough to have an article" - you say ). Could you please more precise here ? I mean ...
- 1 - there are at least 2 independent "top ten - desktop project management" where RationalPlan is mentioned
http://project-management-software-review.toptenreviews.com/index.html http://www.isoftwarereviews.com/project-management-software-reviews/
- 2 RationalPlan is rather a new product (is started about 1.5 years ago); taking it out of wiki might prevent it from getting spread. As part of RationalPlan team I can say that large companies are considering RatioanlPlan viewer (one of the few free MS Project viewers available), one of the top-ten banks of the world are considering RatioanlPlan as a replacement for MS Project for the entire company, etc (can't provide names on confidentiality reasons yet)
- 3 independent Project Managers are considering RatioanlPlan as being a top PM product (see for examplehttp://www.brighthub.com/office/project-management/articles/37218.aspx)
In the end, even accepting your idea that is "Not notable enough " (which I really don't understand), it looks like some people (some of them , project managers) find it as a valuable/notable .. This page on wiki is not an advertisement but just a short description of one the PM tools available on the market today. So where is the problem actually ? Because it looks like only a handful of products might get the advantage of being listed on wiki Where is the difference between RationalPlan page on wiki and let's say http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OmniPlan, just to name one of a list of hundred of similar products
Thanks —Preceding unsigned comment added by194.102.135.133 (talk) 10:52, 6 November 2009 (UTC)
- The sites you mentioned are not notable. If you mentioned sites like ZDNet or Engadget that would make difference. Consider reading Wikipedia:Notability.SkyBonTalk/Contributions 11:08, 6 November 2009 (UTC)
You mean something like this: http://downloads.zdnet.com/abstract.aspx?docid=1173045&tag=content;col1 ? RationalPlan is also listed in Apple site: http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/business_finance/rationalplanmultiproject.html Don't know which are the sites you find as notable ... There were also articles about RationalPlan in PM Network Magazine, MacFormat Magazine, PC World Magazine, PC Plus Magazine, etc, its just that some of them were visible to subscribers only while some might be over one year old ... 194.102.135.133 (talk) 13:11, 6 November 2009 (UTC)

Ring Line
Hi! I noticed you wanted to disambiguate Ring Line. While I don't see any problems with your intentions and could support your motion, I am rather concerned about both your choice of name for the line in Oslo and for the way to made the move. If nothing else than for respect for other authors, please take the time to propose the move on the talk page first. Because Ring Line is also a good topic, proper process needs to be followed to ensure a smooth moving of that topic too. 'Ring Line' undoubtedly being a rather common name (there is also one for the S-train in Copenhagen, currently located at Ringbanen), I would easily supported your notion. However, I am not impressed with your naming of the article. All railway, tram and metro lines in Norway use their English names, and I cannot understand why you would want to move it to its Norwegian name (that is virtually unintelligible for a non-Scandinavian speaker), per WP:UE. Following the general naming conventions of Wikipedia, 'Ring Line (Oslo)' would be the most appropriate name, in my opinion. Perhaps other people have opinions too, and it is just courteous and advantageous for the project that as many involved parties have a say. Also note that you attempt to create a disambiguation page has failed, sine 'T-Baneringen' now links back to the new 'Ring Line' page (due to a capitalization error). There will also need to be an amount of dabbing of links to the new location, since an unknown number (perhaps as many as 50 articles) have links to the Ring Line, many which are GA standard. As the mover, it will be reckless of you to not perform this, as smooth navigation is essential for the project. Thank you for your understanding, Arsenikk (talk) 16:51, 28 December 2009 (UTC)
- There was quite a mess created (and a lot of unnecessary time wasted) with the move of the topic (three times, due to lack of communications because of your hurry), but the article and topic are now located at Ring Line (Oslo). I hope this is expectable. Again, next time you believe an article is at the wrong place, leave a not on the talk page and let things run through as they should. No-one cares if we wait a week to create the disambig page for Ring Line or similar situations. Arsenikk (talk) 23:24, 28 December 2009 (UTC)
