As far as I know, anyone can endorse the summaries. You might want to provide a bit of explanation in your case though, being not mentioned in the proceedings thus far. K. Lásztocska 16:18, 28 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hmm, OK. I didn't think of that. —  $PЯINGεrαgђ  16:20, 28 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

halloween

[edit]

happy All Hallows Eve to you too! What's your costume? :) I was going to take the opportunity to mock Bram Stoker's flimsy knowledge of Eastern Europe by going as a "Szekely vampire" (regular vampire costume, I was just going to carry around a copy of the latest manifesto on Szekely autonomy and declaim from it at quasi-regular intervals), but I couldn't find a decent pair of fangs...so now I'm either a fangless vampire or just some sort of witch. K. Lásztocska 12:57, 31 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Well, I won't have a costume this year—I didn't get one in time. We're having a party tomorrow though. —  $PЯINGεrαgђ  23:05, 31 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Happy Halloween!

[edit]

And a happy Halloween to you, my friend. Jump out of a tree onto a group of kids for me mate! Yous lipped right? Cheers! Dfrg_msc 05:04, 1 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ha! I would have loved to do something like that—and I thought about doing it too, but I settled on laying underneath the front porch (actually part of a deck that goes almost all the way around the house) and saying "This…deck…will…self-destruct…in…10 seconds. 9…8…7…6…5…4…3…2…1…" I got some interesting results. :P —  $PЯINGεrαgђ  03:46, 2 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
That's great! My friend dressed in full plate armour and waited at the door for the whole night, to jump out and yell "TRICK, SUCKAZ!" and chaise them with a boarding cutlass. Halloween isn't as big here as it is there. Cheers! Dfrg_msc 06:05, 2 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Mmmm, thank you - for the birthday wishes and the present. I love cake - and chocolate! :D Though I am currently curled up with pumpkin pie and french vanilla coffee, I will imagine it's chocolate cake and drool :P -- Editor at Largetalk 19:58, 4 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Coolness

[edit]

All I can say is that I finally got tired of POV with no sources versus fairly and accurately represented sources being tarred as "POV" not to mention contentions that even fairly representing sources still leads to "POV" articles when written by "nationalists" (a term apparently not to be taken as a positive in that context). It's just my little stake in the ground. PētersV 16:37, 6 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Liszt: "Late" or "Later Works"?

[edit]

The term I've seen used has always been "late works," not "later." Jonyungk 01:54, 9 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I know, but I'm not sure as to how it should sound for an article title. Antandrus or Schissel might have some ideas though. —  $PЯINGεrαgђ  04:27, 9 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hey....

[edit]

Hey Springer... How have ya been? Just wanted to drop in and say Hi.. Hope you are doing good! Just for the record, I am doing fine myself and I am completely occupied by college and this metal band that I joined as a bassist. (I've already come on national TV twice with my band! :-).. And whats happening on your side? It must be pretty cold over there in that valley of yours. I remember when you told me bout the hot wind that blows in the summer and the cold wind in the winter, in the The Esparanza Coffee Shop...I still remember when that link wasn't red. :-( . Anyways, I'll be coming on wikipedia quite a few times now. And maybe do some editing as well. Hope you're still editing strong! I'll need all the help I can get conforming to whatever new rules wikipedida has put up. (And I just discovered half of the images in my userboxes have vanished, I've no idea why yet..) Anyways, see ya around Cliff... Cheers! Jayant,18 Years, Indiacontribs 20:18, 17 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hey mate, and early happy birthday in case you're not on for a while (will be Jayant, 19 Years, India soon). ;) And actually it's not too cold now, although it was at the beginning of the month—lowest temperature this season ≈14°F/-10C—but it was about 55°F/12 or 13C today; not too bad. :) Good luck with your band. ;) —  $PЯINGεrαgђ  04:35, 18 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks a lot for the wishes mate! brrrrrrr.........those numbers look really cold to me.. its a warm 28 C over here. ;-) . Jayant,18 Years, Indiacontribs 09:24, 19 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
"Hey". That said what I wanted to! :) Congrats on the nephews! When's your birthday? I might have to get you some WikiCake :P Fredil 01:53, 20 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
LOL! Fredil thinks I'm getting a nephew and Will thinks it's a niece. I'll have to convince her to give herself, me, and my brother in law (her husband) boy-girl twins so you're both right! :P
My birthday is July 30; I think it's on the calendar. It's also my sister's birthday, and my brother in law's is August 2. So it will be a nice birthday present for all of us. :) —  $PЯINGεrαgђ  03:11, 20 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

How do you link the date and year in your sig? —  $PЯINGεrαgђ  19:00, 5 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I sign with ~~~ and embed the linked dates in my raw sig under preferences. Rich Farmbrough, 19:03 5 December 2007 (GMT).
OK, what does it look like though? (Sorry, despite being computer savvy on an average level, I am horrible with code.) —  $PЯINGεrαgђ  19:09, 5 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thusly Rich Farmbrough, (GMT).
Sounds like it's worth a try… —  $PЯINGεrαgђ  19:12 5 December, 2007
Don't forget "(UTC)". That tends to mess up bots a bit :)
(PST)
would yeild 23:13, November 29, 2024 (PST), which is pretty much the same effect. Will (talk) 19:21, 5 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

btw, change of topic, but if you're in London, for the love of God, don't change Circle-to-Central lines at Bank/Monument. I did that last night and it took me twenty minutes to walk :/. Yesterday was hellish, though. First London Bridge and Bank/Monument were hard to change at, then King Cross got closed so I had to go to the next station a mile up the road only to have to walk down :/ Will (talk) 22:53, 13 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I only rode Circle and Jubilee (or maybe it was Bakerloo) into Bank/Monument, and didn't change a train either time. I'll keep it in mind for next time I go to England though. ;) —  $PЯINGεrαgђ  18:13 14 December, 2007 (UTC)
Only the Circle goes through Bank/Monument... and don't get me started on that line. Will (talk) 18:21, 14 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
OK, I think I was getting confused with Embankment. —  $PЯINGεrαgђ  18:24 14 December, 2007 (UTC)
