Proposed deletion of Stay Thirsty Press

[edit]

The article Stay Thirsty Press has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Seemingly non-notable company with no Google News hits and no significant Google hits. Entries for this company and three associated authors were all created at the same time by the same person, showing possible COI and possible agenda. Company boasts about its WP entry on Craigslist.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. August 2009

[edit]

Please do not replace Wikipedia pages with blank content, as you did to Stay Thirsty Press. Blank pages are harmful to Wikipedia because they have a tendency to confuse readers. If it is a duplicate article, please redirect it to an appropriate existing page. If the page has been vandalized, please revert it to the last legitimate version. If you feel that the content of a page is inappropriate, please edit the page and replace it with appropriate content. If you believe there is no hope for the page, please see the deletion policy for how to proceed. Falcon8765 (talk) 21:07, 6 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Stay Thirsty Press, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your removal of this template does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Thank you.  Ronhjones  (Talk) 22:52, 6 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hang on. This person blanked an article that they wrote. This person is, other than little tweaks, the sole author of the article in question. Rather than reverting and warning them, I'd like to know what the intent of the blanking really was. I'm guessing that they are requesting deletion of the page, in which case it can be tagged as a speedy delete.
Srl49214, if your intent was something other than requesting that the page be deleted, please let me know here. Otherwise, I will assume that was your intent, and tag the page for speedy deletion. As a note, I haven't received any emails from you as of 9:15PM EDT today. Thanks. --Transity (talkcontribs) 01:15, 7 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I have nominated Stay Thirsty Press, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Stay Thirsty Press. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. --Transity (talkcontribs) 17:28, 7 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred from the tone of the edit and the proximity of the editor to the subject, are strongly discouraged. Conflict of Interest

[edit]

I removed all links to Stay Thirsty that I could find on Wikipedia, including the link you added to Minstrel show. As far as I can see (1) you have a conflict of interest and are trying to promote your site, and (2) if any page on your site is useful as a reference here on Wikipedia discuss how that information can be used to improve the article on the relevant talk page. Flooding Wikipedia with links to your site is WP:SPAM-- please stop. Thanks. . --Fama Clamosa (talk) 16:50, 6 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
