Short descriptions for list article[edit]

Stop changing the short description for list articles from "none". Read WP:SDESC and WP:SDNONE. Sundayclose (talk) 14:59, 6 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Also note that a "misconception" and "misattributed fact" don't mean the same thing. Please look them up in a dictionary. Sundayclose (talk) 15:01, 6 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

January 2023[edit]

Information icon Hi Stardewpelican1787! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at List of common misconceptions that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you. April 2023[edit]

Warning icon Please stop. If you continue to remove maintenance templates without resolving the problem that the template refers to, as you did at John Ritter, you may be blocked from editing. - FlightTime (open channel) 23:28, 26 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Special:Diff/1151902158 This has nothing to do with Ritters penis, it shows what level of page protection is set. Quit trolling around. - FlightTime (open channel) 19:04, 27 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
FlightTime,
I am so sorry, I had absolutely no idea. This will not happen again, obviously. I wasn't trying to troll around, I was just trying to help.
Thank you for educating me,

Trout[edit]

Whack!

You've been whacked with a wet trout.

Don't take this too seriously. Someone just wants to let you know that you did something silly.

Maybe check what a template is before removing it... Here's a trout for that! Wilh3lmTalk 18:04, 28 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi friend![edit]

Apologies if this is kinda weird, but I found you via your Reddit TIFU post (which was hilarious), and I wanted to let you know that if you've got any Wiki questions, you are more than welcome to drop me a line. I'm not really anything special, but I have been around for some time now, and I'm always happy to lend a hand.

Congrats on the trout, by the way! Happy editing! NekoKatsun (nyaa) 19:21, 1 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for February 21[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited More Happy Than Not, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Depression. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, --DPL bot (talk) 06:03, 21 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
