List of animals in fiction
[edit]Hi, I'm a New Page Reviewer and I note you recently created a List page called "List of animals in fiction" which completely duplicates the function of existing lists. See List of miscellaneous fictional animals and see also many other individual lists named in Lists of fictional animals.
Rather than either approve the page or flag the article for deletion, I propose to blank that page and turn it into a simple WP:REDIRECT to List of miscellaneous fictional animals. You might want to check whether any content will be lost when I do this, and move it over beforehand. Note that it if you miss that opportunity, it will always be possible to look back at the Page History to view past content and copy it over later. Speedy deletion nomination of The only fictional chocolate tester
[edit]Hello Starfruitftw,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged The only fictional chocolate tester for deletion, because it appears to duplicate an existing Wikipedia article, Willy Wonka.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

Creating trivial lists
[edit]Please stop creating trivial lists, especially while other lists you have created are still being considered for deletion. Wikipedia is not an indiscriminate collection of information, nor is it a fansite. RA0808 talkcontribs 18:07, 16 September 2017 (UTC)
- +1: please hang fire from creating them. In the unlikely event that they are kept, you can keep making them but it's just unhelpful considering that there's an ongoing AfD. You may want to comment there. DrStrauss talk 18:24, 16 September 2017 (UTC)
- +1: You might find some useful insight on situations like this in Uncle G's essay on cargo cult encyclopaedia article writing . --The Fifth Horseman (talk) 19:10, 17 September 2017 (UTC)
