Arthur goes shopping (talk) 15:37, 27 February 2014 (UTC)File permission problem with File:Profile image of Tom Chapman, musician.png
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Profile image of Tom Chapman, musician.png. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.
If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 09:16, 4 March 2014 (UTC)
The Friends of Didsbury Park moved to draftspace
[edit]Thanks for your contributions to The Friends of Didsbury Park. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability and none of the references are significant coverage from reliable sources and at least one is not independent. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.
Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. GPL93 (talk) 23:12, 13 November 2023 (UTC)
- hey there, I'm trying to update the wiki page for The Friends of Didsbury Park, but I'm hitting a few problems and it's late in the uk. first, I'm going to add a reference to our registration page on the UK Charity Commission website - which clarifies we are a legitimate charity that was established to maintain the park https://register-of-charities.charitycommission.gov.uk/charity-search/-/charity-details/5124318/governing-document
- Second, tomorrow morning the Friends of Didsbury Park will be awarded a prestigious award for volunteering groups, from the UK's King, King Charles. We are embargoed from announcing this until 9am (Uk) tomorrow morning (on risk of having the award removed if this is leaked), but this will give us another very legitimate reference to cite and I will add the references once this is all announced. Hope this helps, we're only a small charity and we're hoping to make the most of this huge news. Stopford2014(talk) 23:31, 13 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
